The excellent care shown by the entire staff completely changed my anxiety and I began to look forward to getting my teeth cleaned. Dr. Patterson completely turned the health of my teeth around and I began to really love my smile. Fast forward to present day where my husband and I along with our two kids live in Buda, TX. About 3.5 hours from League City. We STILL make the drive to our family dentist for whatever dental work we need. My 3 year old just had her first visit and it was an incredibly positive experience. Horrible experience. After initial appt with exams...Made an appt to go back and have a crown done…read morethen root canal. Arrived for appt and the staff had put me in as just a routine visit so they weren't able to do dental work due to the time frame. Rescheduled and arrived for this appt. Wasn't able to do dental work because no matter how much they numbed my mouth still had pain so they suggested I do the root canal 1st. Mind you qhen I arrived they gave me a different price then what I was quoted. Scheduled the root canal...arrived thinking Im gonna pay $438 out of pocket only to my surprise they told me it would be a lil over $900. I had a credit of $407 and asked them if they could just send me a check for the credit because I wasnt paying $900 and I would just go somewhere else. She told me yes it would take about 2 weeks to get it. Fast fwd...Called today 9/9/26...to do a follow-up on the check. Karen told me it take 3/4 weeks for the check. I informed her that wasnt what I was told and that everytime I speak with them it changes. Very inconsistent. So I asked her for corporate number or email and she informed me that they dont have corporate and that everything is done internal. I politely said ok thank you...hung up called another Ideal Dental and received corporate number and email. Spoke with someone at the call center they had Karen to contact me and let me know my check tracking number and when it should arrive. League City Ideal Dental should have their staff to be retrained on how to handle insurance claims and also be refreshed on the refund policy and be informed of corporate number and email for customers who have complaints instead of giving false information

I will tell you from the phone call to scheduling an appointment with Nicole or which Tiffany at the time was the phone girl at the front desk to moving to the back the Hygienist Michelle (Which I love so much)and then finally meeting the Dentist which mine is Doctor DeVaullt nothing more then Excellent(truly I could not ask for a more professional and how awesome she is. She truly cares and does her work based off what is best for you). I have had to have some major dental work done and they have made it simple by financially they have options (financing and other options) and try to help by adding more options to accommodate the clients , stress free, accommodating in other aspects, friendly, quickly responsive through phone calls to emails, any concerns you have voice them they will do everything in their power to make you feel comfortable. IV Conscious sedation is something I require as my fear is something I will never get rid of but the way this business runs as I have said before other dental offices need to learn from them. I recently changed insurance companies and had to pick a new provider. I chose Kemah family dental…read morefor its location and early hours. I booked a 7:30 appointment for a week day. I arrived and the office business hours on the door are posted as open at 8. So I left to run an errand only to get a text that I was late. I returned and did the onboard documents. While I waited to see the dentist I visited the bathroom. I judge most places on cleanliness and organization. The bathroom stunk with trash over flowing from the large waste containers and towels on the floor. The bathroom was very dirty. Against my better judgement I stayed and saw the dentists after what I'm sure were a few hundred dollars of X-rays. I had a broken tooth and the dentist pitched me on an expensive implant- (already have 4) instead of a bridge that o wanted . Anyway- they are very nice and friendly people but between the cleanliness and the reluctance to make the repair that I requested - I will take another week and find a new dentist. Your experience may certainly differ than mine. Good luck.

Every time I come in, there's a new person working on my teeth, which makes it feel extremely disorganized and impersonal. There's no consistency in care, and no one seems to know my treatment history. At my last visit, the person who checked my teeth was rude and unprofessional. She gave me no real advice on how to care for my teeth, just told me they were shifting back and handed me an Aligner Chewie, telling me to just keep using it. No follow-up, no care plan--just a rushed, careless visit. I was also told they wouldn't be checking on me anymore because my plan was over, which felt like a complete brush-off. This place feels very money-hungry--like they care more about getting paid than actually helping their patients. It's clear some of the staff are just there to collect a check, not to give quality care. I wouldn't recommend this office if you're looking for a place that actually cares about your progress or your experience.
