These guys are great in my book!…read more On a rainy Saturday I needed a pump for my Mom's basement that had flooded. The one the plumber had placed was working at a snail's pace with a garden hose attached. Gaston Rentals had at least three different pumps to chose from - one small one (similar to the plumber's), a heavy duty midsize with a 2' hose and a beastly 3" waste pump (gas powered). I chose the midsize, an industrial cord and 100 feet of hose. With tax it was all a little under $80. A disaster relief company would have likely charged 6-8 times that, so the DIY saved us some $$$. The guys were very helpful and even loaded everything in my car. I was able to keep the pump until Monday AM without any additional charges. The only bad news was after about 2.5 hours I went to move the pump (not rocket science, "plug and play" and completely submersible) to a lower point and when I plugged it back in, it wouldn't restart. Luckily most of the water had been pumped out by that time and if it was a weekday I'm sure they would have exchanged it. One of the hoses had a small leak too but it did not affect water removal at all. One star docked for equipment failure otherwise great concept and service. If you need any heavy or light duty equipment rentals check these guys out.

I thought to myself- where do we now get our ballon's for events?? I did a quick google search and contacted several ballon artist companies. The Posh Ballon Was the only one to respond to my inquiry ! Admittedly I realized I needed a ballon solution at the last minute, like the week of the event!! Jordyn from The Posh Ballon provides stellar service. Her online ordering process is seamless, but she is available to assist if you have questions and/ or concerns. I purchased a grab and go garland given the time restraint. I was able to pick a size of the garland, as well as the specific colors I needed for my event. After ordering I was able to pay for the item within the same website. After purchasing you do have to sign a contract. Following the completion of the contract and payment everything is all set. I was provided with very detailed instructions on how to pick up the ballon's. Additionally , I received several reminders that my schedule time to pick up my order was approaching. To sum up my experience-- I 1,000% recommend The Posh Ballon. The service is outstanding, and the product delivered is as expected. Please do not hesitate to utilize The Posh Balloon For all of your ballon needs!

We wanted to do something fun and exciting for our sons 13th birthday so we contacted Xcite Mobile…read moreGaming. The Clarissa at Excite answered all of our questions and was very detailed in what we were getting and what we should expect! There were several follow ups from the staff prior to the party and the owner Cory even went over parking accommodations and requested that we let the neighbors know that the gaming trailer would be parked on the block for several hours so it would not inconvenience anyone (very considerate)! Two game coaches arrived early and set up within 10 minutes. They went over all of the rules with the guest, gave our son a bag of goodies then let us (the birthday boy, mom & dad) go on board to check out the trailer to make sure it was up to our standards (and it was definitely up to our standards)! Our son had about 16 friends come to his party and they had a blast! They all enjoyed three and a half hours of gaming and virtual reality in comfortable, air conditioned state-of-the-art accommodations and we topped it off with cake, ice cream and a bag full of goodies for everyone! If you're looking for something special for that special child (boy or girl) check out Xcite; they have a girl themed party trailer in addition to a laser tag party option! The price for our sons party was great and worth every penny!

I had Jackson's Kitchen cater our wedding in March of 2025. The food is delicious and affordable…read more The reason for my rating is the experience we had with Mike, the owner of the business. Mike has a lot of experience and could probably cater any event in his sleep, however, his "bedside manner" is lacking and put a damper on some of the wedding planning. I never believed Mike had ill intentions, but I think if he had a more positive attitude during his consultations and tastings, his business would be even bigger. I didn't feel like he fully listened to all of my ideas and was very opinionated with decisions I had made for the wedding unrelated to food. As brides, we are very stressed during wedding planning, and while I'm sure Mike was coming from a good place, it made me and my family uncomfortable with how many things he had to say about our order of events, whether we were serving alcohol or not, timeline, etc. On the wedding day, his team arrived a little later than I anticipated (not late, just not at the time we thought) and he parked front and center of the venue and didn't move his catering van after they were done unloading. We had to move our welcome signs and it was just an awkward sight for guests to arrive at the beautiful venue and then see a catering van in the entrance. There was also some tension between Mike and the mother of the groom as she was trying to remove chairs for guests who did not arrive so there weren't empty chairs in photos, and he did not let her remove them. We didn't have as many leftovers as advertised. When Mike asked me what I wanted to drink on day of wedding, I asked for water and tea and he said I needed to pick one. All of these complaints are small but they do add up and made me ultimately decide that I would not recommend this business to another bride for her wedding solely because I believe wedding vendors not only need to provide a quality product, but need to have a good attitude and positive energy. Hearing negative comments from my family after the wedding related to the catering experience made me sad since every other aspect of the wedding went perfectly! Again, the food is great and we had not one complaint about quality - I just didn't mesh well with Mike and am disappointed in the overall experience.
