This is a smaller shop within a shopping center and there was only one other customer inside when I got in since I tried to catch them as they opened given the fact I didn't have an appointment. So there's a barber with a client on the front chair closest to the entrance and another barber at the second chair and so I'm directed to him. He asks me what I want I explain low fade around the temples and back and take a bit of the top but keep it even and dark (I felt like that was pretty clear) and for further clarity because I know this isn't my usual shop I show him a photo of what I just explained. He nods and says "got it" as if he can pull it off so all good. Fast forward to what I actually received which was an uneven high fade and he took way more off the top than I indicated so basically looked nothing like the photo in addition to affecting my natural wave pattern. The only saving grace is that he managed to do a fairly decent edge up despite making me essentially bald by time he tried to even out the sides of the fade. I certainly won't be returning here but my suggestion would be that if you require anything more intricate than a buzzcut or line up you may want to avoid the barber in the chair closest to the tv or possibly consider alternative shop options.

My girl Hannah is in the back and apparently watching the breaking news that Tom Brady took 10 days away from his team because he had previously planned a vacation to the Bahamas with his family. Seems like kind of a dick move toward the team, but I suppose as the greatest of all time you are allowed some extra PTO. But I digress. Hannah promptly directs me to her chair and greets me with a warm smile that one would expect from a best friend. I sit down and inform her of my wishes -- 1" on the side (tapered) and about 1/2 inch off the top. Hannah spends the next 45 minutes meticulously cutting my hair, trimming my neck line, gently blending my sideburns into my above average beard, and creating the perfect part. Hannah finished off with a hot lather shave of my neck, cleaned up the ol eyebrows, and blow-dried and styled my hair. She even threw in a few styling tips. I am used to those quick 5-10 minute haircuts from Sportsclips that cost $25+ so this was refreshing, to say the least. And the cut only cost $20. I will be returning. Recommend to anyone looking for not only a haircut but a hair journey. Also swung by the Goodwill across the strip mall. Picked up a delightful coffee mug for .99, stating that Jesus died for our sins.
