Home owners beware!…read more I had this company on the books for 4 weeks, they quoted me twice so they clearly wanted the work until the time came to actually work lol. On the day of the job to start, he sends me a text, DOES NOT CALL ME and says "I am forfeiting the job". THE DAY OF THE JOB TO START. Not only has he put me back 4 weeks he has put my fencing contract behind a month because now I need to find a reliable company that is going to do what they say. If you can avoid business with this company, go with professionals.

Great customer service, time management and quality work. Thank you Bill and the CHS team!

We had expected to take months to find a home right for us, but to our happy surprise stumbled upon…read morea wonderful home unexpectedly quickly. The big thing to fix before we moved in, was demolishing the old, impractical closet shelving and organizing (to replace with new). Because it all happened far faster than expected, we found ourselves needing contractor help in a hurry to get a large walk-in closet and four other bedroom closets demolished, patched, and painted. I went on Yelp, found CHS were top rated, and sent them a message. Bill and his team at CHS replied within 24 hours to our first inquiry. We exchanged texts with photos and questions and got and accepted a quote within a day. They were in our house three days later and got the job done two days after that. They stripped the floor to ceiling old shelves, patched and repainted the walls, fixed the hardwood floors and left everything completely clean. From first Yelp search to finished job, one week. Great, speedy communication and excellent work done in a hurry. Totally lived up to the high ratings, and I strongly recomend them. Thank you, Bill!

From the moment they showed up, it was clear this was a team that knew what they were doing--and loved doing it. Their estimate was one of the best I've seen: clear, detailed, and well-documented with realistic expectations and no fluff. The communication throughout the entire project was outstanding. They provided consistent updates, always checked in to confirm next steps or flag challenges as they uncovered them, and never left me guessing about progress or timeline. They took their time and did it right. No shortcuts. Every detail was handled with care, and their pride in the work really showed. This is also just a genuinely great family team with such a positive, can-do attitude. Our entire neighborhood was rooting for them--cheering on the transformation as they brought this wild jungle of a lot back to life. They went above and beyond in every possible way. I honestly wish I had more lots to clear just to work with them again. Can't say enough good things. Highly recommend.

I am an out of state owner of this rental property, so I am forced to rely on trust and pictures. Joaquin, the owner, professionally articulated the project from start to finish. For a relatively small job, he personally visited the property multiple times to plan and measure all aspects of the project. His ideas and experience impressed me. But, most of all, he takes great pride in his work and backs his word. When the job was over, he tested the drainage to ensure water drained properly in the grated drain system and the well that he installed. Additionally, he installed a retaining wall to further help with the drainage issues. He took the time to explain to me every detail on the phone, took and sent excellent pictures, and overall did phenomenal work! I'm happy with the project which resolved the problem that I have been dealing with for years. Finally, Joaquin's estimate and prices were on the mark. Not once did I even consider I was overpaying for anything. He broke down the cost of materials and the number of hours of labor. I plan to use JL & Sons again for fencing and some repair work on a screened porch. Very reliable, honest, and fair - an easy 5-star evaluation that I am happy to write and provide a reference.

We became familiar with the quality of Nick's work even before he started his own company…read more There were several projects that we need to have done at our home, so we decided to see if these were things that Nick was able to provide. He assured us that he had a lot of experience in performing each of the jobs that we needed someone to do. These were somewhat major projects, and he was able to complete all three of them in about 9 hours. We were very impressed with quality of workmanship, and his attention to detail with each project. In addition to his obvious abilities, he was very personable and always took the time to answer our many questions. We will certainly use his services again in the future.
