What a gem! Truly a wonderful experience perusing the shop. Don't miss the upstairs! The furniture,…read morehome decor and plants on the second floor are just beautiful. Everything thoughtfully curated and styled. Vintage couches, tables and chairs. Pendleton pillows - gorgeous muted shades at great prices - on shelves as you enter the second floor and on some of the couches. In the far back is the plant room. So much fun! Succulents in little pots, ferns and other foliage plus planters and vessels, some traditional, some very current and quirky. On the back wall colorful scarves hang next to a wicker shelve unit containing botanical prints and frames. The first floor was filled with lots of vintage finds. For a collector, this would be your happy place! Old metal doll houses, baby's clothing, potato chip tins, milk cartons, dolls, signs, dial phones, vintage hats, and so much more! While the store has a myriad of items, everything is in good condo and displayed beautifully. This is. It one of those antique stores where it looks like a garage sale. Care and thought has been put into everything from how they isource and secure items, to how they group them creating collections for visual interest and ease of finding like things. Loved everything about this shop! Including the signature daisies in the flower boxes out front!

If you're at all into browsing around antique shops, put this adorable city on your radar - even…read morethe city itself is an antique, having been founded in the late 1800s as a religious commune. It's super cute and historical - complete with its own walking tour! Aurora is a hidden gem - and is less 30 minutes south of Portland! The city is pretty small so it's definitely doable as a day trip depending on how long you want to spend antique-hunting. I've never seen so many antique stores in one place - there are at least 10 within walking distance, and a lot more if you include the ones outside of the quaint little Main Street area. PRO TIP: don't visit on a Monday though - as tons of the shops and restaurants are closed oddly enough. The city centers around historical Main Street which is pleasantly walkable and offers clean public restrooms and picnic tables to take a break on. It also offers a really interesting self-guided walking tour of the historic buildings and town called the "Emma Walk" and you can find it online here: https://olis.oregonlegislature.gov/liz/2013R1/Downloads/FloorLetter/460 Another little fun fact - Aurora is the home of Life Flight - the largest nonprofit air ambulance company in the country - who knew?!! There are lots of cute boutique hotels and restaurants in the area - as well as major chains in nearby Wilsonville if that's your thing. Every summer they have a fun festival called Colony Days. The town is easy to find - right off I-5. And there's lots of public parking in the Main Street area. Aurora is really a true hidden gem - I'd never heard of it and only stumbled upon it after digging around on Google looking for a fun place to stay on my way out of Oregon that's close enough to PDX but not inside the city lol. Definitely worth a day trip!
