I visited this spot today. It's a little tucked away, but it has a cool vibe and nice aesthetics…read more Unfortunately, my experience took a serious turn. I ordered a $16 hot dog that came with a surprise--a metal pellet embedded in it. I ended up chipping part of my tooth. When I raised the issue, the manager came out with the person who prepares the food. Their exact words: "We were looking for that piece." They offered me a few complimentary drinks and replaced the hot dog. But when I closed my tab, they charged me for every single drink, including the ones they had offered to make amends. So in the end, the only thing they did was replace the original hot dog--after it chipped my tooth. Disappointed is an understatement. A gesture of goodwill turned into a confusing bill. I hope they take food safety and customer care more seriously moving forward.

Come causal or in your beach attire--will feel comfortable in either. Service was quick and really friendly and welcoming. Plenty of seating options, and I mean you can either sit at the bar, on a chair swing, a round table, or a high chair right, which is all right on the beach! Fun place!

Miles made our experience at The Kitchen! The food was delicious and fresh. I had the carnitas…read moretacos, and they had great flavor. Only 2 were served for $15 with no sides. That's a lot per taco! Add a side and it makes sense. The layout of the dining areas offers privacy for small groups. The decor and furniture could use some updates and repairs.

First time trying this restaurant and I was pretty excited too. Came down from DC to have lunch…read morewith my dad and chose this restaurant to try something different. I grabbed to go orders of the crab cake sandwich, side Caesar salad and the kicking crab soup. I also got the chicken wrap with a side Cesar salad for my dad. I didn't open the items up until I got to my location. Upon opening, there were a the few pieces of lettuce with 3 long shavings of cheese across for their version of a Caesar salad. Minimal dressing that tasted like just oil was placed on it. Very disappointing just by looking at it. The crab cake sandwich had no sauce, a thick piece of tomato and another piece of lettuce on the side. The crab cake which had a good amount of crab in it, lacked flavor and tasted like it was cooked in old grease. The kicking Crab soup tasted like water with a lot of black pepper and two pieces of crab meat in it. My dad had nothing good to say about his chicken wrap. For service and as a to go order, the waitresses were really nice. The ambiance was upscale dining experience with prices that should reflect in their food quality. $25 for a crab cake that tasted like it came from a gas station is not what I expected. Nor for it being paired with a few pieces of lettuce for their Caesar dressing. Maybe it was a bad day or, I'm not their typical customer. Either way, it's a first and last for me.

This is a really nice place to go hang out to have a nice priced drink and Excellent food. I will…read morehighlight The Good, The Bad & The Ugly below: The Good: The food is Excellent, the owner is very hospitable and the customers are friendly. The lady that cooks the food is extremely helpful and excellent as well. The chicken wings that we ordered were seasoned and cooked to perfection!!!!! The Bad: While the food is good, ordering is quite a challenge. This was our first time eating at this establishment as we were told how good the food really was. And it was excellent!!! However, when you ask an employee if there is a menu, they say, it's on the door. You look at the door and there is no menu. I the. Asked another person hat looked like she was the cook. This was great as she said the menu is actually on a piece of paper on the wall. Note: I still never found this menu. However, she (the cook) was very, very friendly and told me what she had ready to cook. We ordered Fried Chicken Wings and a side of French Fries for the two of us to share. The food was excellent!! )so this is not bad. The Ugly: The bartender either needs assistance in serving the customers in a timely manner or she can improve her speed and service. When we first sat down, we waited over 10 minutes for her to even acknowledge us. Not to serve....just acknowledge. Will we return? Absolutely!!!!! The Bad and the Ugly did not outweigh the the good. We had a feast time watching Karaoke, eating Fried Chicken & enjoying good drinks. This is a place that you do not need to get dressed nice to hang out, and there are often times that I just want to have on jeans and tee shirt to go out and just have a drink and have laughs with friends or with Hubby. This was the case in our recent visit and enjoyed ourselves immensely. We will certainly return and hope you visit this great establishment. Bon Appetit and Have Fun!!!!!

Two glasses of Cutty Sark for $7. I was retelling a story that involved profanity and the proprietor came over and reprimanded me earnestly. "If you come in my place, you got to find a bigger vocabulary." Everyone was busy setting up for a farewell party for a local DJ. The good smell of dirty rice and greens cooking in the back almost tempted us to stay. But six hours is a long time to kill, even with Cutty Sark and NCAA football on CBS.
