Unethical and manipulative (straight lies) from the sales team. I would not purchase a peanut from them without having a personal mechanic and lawyer read every detail and inspect the vehicle. This is a complete loss for me which is fine but beware Debbie and Justin lie and promote/protect unethical and manipulative sales tactics read more

I scheduled an appointment to get my Elantra serviced. They looked at it two weeks later. I called every other day to get a status update and they did not return calls. They actually said they didn't calls and there was a problem with the phones. I spent $4000 on the massive repairs. two months later it broke down and they said it was the cam shaft. Another $3000. When I asked them why they didn't see that the cam shaft was having problems 2 months ago and that checking it was indicated for the mileage they had a bs answer after waiting 2 hours to talk to the manager. I understand that car repairs are a racket. I can shrug off a rigged system and even corner-cutting, shoddy work as part of a bigger problem. But, at the end of the day, I cannot excuse the extreme rudeness and lack of concern by the staff. That's something free and within their control. Don't take your car here. For many reasons. read more

This was a high-pressure sales place that pushed me away from buying here. Years ago and fresh out of college, I had a good job offer land in my lap. It was a pretty job about to start in a few days, but I needed a car of my own. For this job,I couldn't rely on public transportation, or rides from friends and family. . .I needed to buy my first car. As a graduation present, my father had told me he'd buy me a car. He was sending me a check for several thousand dollars by overnight mail. So, I shopped around online and found a really good deal on a used car for sale through Bachman. I got a ride to there that same day and took a look at. It did well on the test drive, seemed to be a good car at a good price. So, I sat down with the salesman to buy the car. He started to push financing deals on me, talking about how low he could get the payments. I made it clear I'd be able to pay cash for the car, I didn't want to finance it. There was just one catch: I wouldn't have the money until tomorrow, that if he could hold the car for just one day, I'd pay cash for it and drive it off the lot by close-of-business tomorrow. He said that was impossible, that they couldn't hold a car for a day. When I explained I was having money sent to me by overnight mail for the purchase, he tried to pressure me (and my father) to Western Union the money. Note that sending the money via Western Union would cost us several hundred dollars, after he'd spent about $20 on the overnight mail for the check he'd already sent. We tried to negotiate, but he was firm, he absolutely wouldn't wait for the check to arrive. So, we left Bachman. They lost the sale. The next day the money came in the mail and I went elsewhere and bought a car. It was their loss. I won't go back though, they could have been just a tad more patient, waited 24 hours, and they would have got the sale and had a loyal customer. They'd rather alienate me on the off chance they could sell the car later that day to the next guy who walked in the door. read more

Sad situation if you ask me, A young mother just graduating and putting homelessness in the past, I was gifted a car by MY CHURCH!!!!! (2013 Chevy Cruze) 2 days after i got the car the cars oil & antifreeze leaked EVERYWHERE!!! Not only that but my car was ticking since the 3rd day i got it, So i took my car in and they had it for 4 DAYS!!! They did a $8,000 job on my car sealing the oil, just to turn around and be driving away and 10 minutes into my drive my car was smoking WITH MY KIDS IN THE CAR!!! Smoking so bad i had to pull over and get my kids out and wait 30 minutes in the hot heat for a tow truck to come, Fast forward to a week later my car was leaking again, I sent it back they say they see nothing and that they drove the car, No way they drove the car because it was having trouble accelerating since the day i got it aswell as having a tick, Sent it back they had it for maybe 2 hours and called and told me to pick up... Tried to say it was my fault and put too much oil but thats funny because we didnt even put oil in it. Enough to make it 3 minutes down the road is all, In hopes of working and getting my life together and doing right!!! Everytime i have took it they told me NOTHING IS WRONG!!! So i took it to someone else and they tell me the code P0324 popped up, TAMMY WAS THE SALESWOMEN - She was so content of keep saying we may have to switch you with something else... But always said nothing was wrong so they wouldnt have to do that. I took it about 5 times before they said "Its been 30 days, We cant do anything" forget it and took it elsewhere - They took from a great church and great people who helped me so much in my life and thats what really hurts me. the 2nd tme i took it the guy unplugged the scensors... He stated "So it wouldnt be a distraction and light up like a christmas tree" but yet thats what i need on in order for things to pop up like the CHECK ENGINE LIGHT!!!! The same guy then told me "You can expect a new car for (the price we paid) But nobody ever asked for one but if you charging someone as much as we payed WE WANT A WORKING RUNNING CAR!!!!!! they kept messing around until the 30 days was up so then they wouldnt be responsible. Its way more then this that has happened but im limited to what i can say. If they would steal and screw over a church who else would they do it too!! Also called the manager for weeks and i got no answer until i said something about getting a attorney and i tell you not even 10 minutes later i got a call from the man i been calling for weeks!!! 2013 Chevy Cruze - Its a sad world out here anything for a buck!!! I mean what if the car would have blown up with my kids in the car? Like im so confused - So the diagnosis i got was accurate to why i was bringing the car in every week for ticking noise. I may need a whole new motor!!! DO NOT BUY A USED CAR FROM THIS PLACE!!! read more

If you're buying a VW in Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Bachman is the place to go, they will give you the best price and their staff is great. The buying experience is second to none. This review is for the service department. Among the service staff, there are 2 guys who are great, the other 3 not so much. They aren't very friendly, while not rude, they give the impression that they are doing you a favor by helping you with their service. Like we aren't paying a ton of money to get service at the dealership. I have to explain to them every time that the oil change shouldn't be charged since I paid for that upfront. I really don't know how much I paid for it, VW maintenance program which only includes oil changes. Haha. It's laughable. It's nothing like BMW or Audi which covers all the maintenance and if before 2016 includes brakes. That's a maintenance program. Anyway, I probably should give this review 1 star, but as I said there are two guys in that department that are very good. So my daughter was in an accident and I got the repair done at local collision repair shop and they informed me that there was oil leaking from the drain plug. So I scheduled an appointment for a check up and an oil change on a Saturday. I informed the person over the phone my concern and was told they could do what I had asked. So I get there and it's one of the service reps with a chip on his shoulder. I tell him my problem and he tells me they only do oil changes on Saturdays and that I would have to schedule that during the week. I tell them I can't do that, that I'm returning the car to my daughter, I just want to make sure the oil isn't leaking from the drain plug and he repeats that they only do oil changes and that it cost 70 bucks. ????? I'm thinking is this guy a moron?? I tell him " "you're changing the oil, you're gonna drain the oil from the drain, can't you look at the drain plug and make an assessment if there is a problem. He responds with we only do oil changes. Fuck!! I left there and went to a great auto shop I usually take my cars to in my hometown. They are super busy and can't do the oil change but squeeze it in to check the drain plug and tell me everything is fine and that the drain is dry as a bone. That's all I wanted, a check and some piece of mind that my daughters car was good to go. I'll continue to take my car here cause I paid for the oil changes up front and I'm sure the mechanics are very good, and overall the dealership is great. Okay my review may not make any sense now. But I brought my car in today and the service was outstanding. My service agent was one of the two great guys I spoke of earlier, young guy, I think his name is Sean. Anyway totally took care of me. Got me the recommended scheduled service for 60k miles and got me a great deal with some of the packages they were offering. Minus my bad experience Bachman is a great dealership. read more

Salesman think they are really funny and waste your time. Don't waste your time with this group.

I have had a horrible experience with the VW CC we purchased from Bachman VW about a year ago. After about a dozen times in the service department, we took the car to another certified mechanic. They disclosed that the car had been in a wreck and that explained a lot of the issues we had been having. It was a Bachman verified car! I would recommend having any used car checked out with your own trusted mechanic. Also, if you are expecting a loaner car at any point, I would recommend a different dealership. Nothing has been resolved! Shopping elsewhere from now on! read more

The auto repair shop is marginal. The service manager did not know exactly what was going on with my car. I had to get my 2010 M3 repaired after I had a collision and needed repair of the passenger rear portion of the car. I was not impressed with the level of oversight on my repair from the manager or the company for that matter. It took six months to get the car back and when I got it shipped to me it was still not repaired properly and I had to get it fixed again at another place in my hometown. Stay away unless you don't really care about insurance fraud and them ripping you off. read more

I had an outstanding experience while working with the Internet Dept. at Bachman Auto Group to purchase my 2011 Subaru WRX! Barry Armstrong, my contact at the internet department clearly understood my needs and interests and made the process simple and painless. His communication was excellent and their willingness to hold the car for an extended period while I was on vacation was exceptional. Eric McPeters, the Subaru sales representative was also a pleasure to work with. I travelled several hours to pickup the car and it was excellently prepped and ready to go upon my arrival. Eric even thought of things that I wouldn't have, like including the original widow sticker, when there were so many other details to attend to. He even came in on his day off just to complete the delivery. What more can I say, these guys made what in the past has been a arduous and time consuming process, straight forward and stress free, just the way it should be. I would recommend them to absolutely anyone. I wish this level of service was available on a daily basis in all my transactions! read more

I was conversing with a Bachman salesman for a few weeks on a used car they were advertising on Car Gurus in March 2018. After repeated attempts to find out even the most basic of information such as what are the conditions of all 4 tires, the best he could tell me is that they put on 2 new tires but that he could not find any invoice internal or otherwise to support that. He then said that one manager told him that they indeed put on 2 new tires but another manager said that did not make sense to him. He said that he would have put on 4 tires so not to leave the car with 2 completely different tires on the car. So I asked one more time to have a manger contact me and verify what the real answer was. Time passed and after a week I felt I could not trust this dealership and moved on. read more

On Thursday 6/21/2018 We were sold a dodge ram 59,000 miles, for 17,000 400 dollar payments a month through wells Fargo. We informed the sales man that we were unable to pick it up til Saturday, he said That's fine we just need to at least get a 500 deposit to hold the truck, so it doesn't get sold because they had a guy that was coming to look at it as well. So, gave him our credit card info and salesman said they just cleaned it up for us so and so on and when you come on Saturday just need to sign for it and said okay so it's a final deal responded yes it is congratulation on your new purchased. Next morning was called and told they sold it to the other gentleman and said he was looking at it three weeks ago but it was out for repair. We said well so were we it had a dent in it and was out being repaired. Told them we spoke to a lady and she said she will call when it's back. On Thursday 6/21 lady called said it's back asked if still interested we said yes, she said okay I'll pass it over to our salesman. No longer than 15 mins a guy called to work the deal by 1 or 2 pm approved done deal. Now after that truck was sold the salesman said sorry and he has a 2010 ford with more mileage, we said no we like RAM trucks. He said well we don't have anymore in your price range, how about a jeep compass and jeep  Cherokees. He could try and get us the same deal. I looked on line and seen a nice dodge Ram 2012 with a little more or less mileage for 21,000. Why couldn't Bachmann make it right with us with that??? What about customer care and value?? So, I tried to get a hold of a manger or a owner, I knew I wouldn't get a owner. However a gentleman did call and Saud his name was Ryan Bachmann maybe he was maybe he wasn't. Told us he heard what happened and heard we were looking at the other RAM and he will do what he can to make it right and hang in there, be patience with us while we work it out. Of course no call back still and calls to him and since then the same sales man is calling and telling us Ryan Bachmann over stepped his bounds and we would be dealing with him. Our only option is the jeeps he offered and offering the same deal, well of course they would be the same deal best their the same price. I admit we don't have the perfect credit when you have a special needs son and another son with Asthma, you have to do the best you can without drowning. However our car payments nor our house payments have never been late. We need cars to take our kids to appointment and a roof over our heads. I'm so bothered and Disturbed on how we do not matter to this dealership. I may never get anywhere with my complaint but I want people to heat see how the owners and employee's treat there customers after a mistake on there end. Ultimately they sold a vechile twice. read more

STAY AWAY! I purchased a vehicle from the Bachman Auto Group that was "certified". It turned out to be a huge nightmare. I do not claim to be a mechanic, but I suppose when you buy a car you expect it to have decent tires. When I purchased the vehicle the front tires were completely bald and the rear ones only lasted 3,000 more miles. The car obviously has a problem of ruining tires because we have now gone through 3 sets in under 35,000 miles. Bachman refuses to address the issue even though the vehicle is certified and under warranty. I complained enough to reach the GM Randy Hutchings, or at least his voicemail. He promised to offer assistance, but that was never fulfilled. read more

May 2018 I took my vehicle to Pepboys for an oil change and tune up and they referred me to the Bachman Dealership because my motor was knocking. The vehicle was running and with no issues, Bachman Service associate did an initial full assessment on the vehicle and told me that my motor needed to be replaced and a couple of recall parts (never mentioning anything about my alternator being bad) but would not replace my motor under my warranty, I had to then find all the paperwork to prove I was the original owner. Under the Hyundai manufacture agreement they agreed to replace my motor under warranty. July 2018 they called to inform me that they replaced the motor and that the alternator was bad and that is would cost hundreds of dollars to have it fixed. When we questioned the associate about what happened he stated that when they went to start the vehicle the alternator blew a cloud of white smoke and no longer worked. Since then I have tried to call associate several times and was told he had not had time to deal with my car or had time to deal with calling me. He eventually stopped answering my calls and has failed to call me back since July. The Hyundai manufacture told me that they would not be able to cover it because there is no proof they did something wrong because the dealership is denying fault. read more

Just purchased a vehicle from Bachman Chevrolet from out of state. The experience we had with the internet department was as good as you could have asked for. We dealt with Barry Armstrong and unlike other times in the past there was no pushy salesman to deal with just a person there to answer your questions and make sure you get what you want. At times I fealt bad because I was asking a ton of questions and even asked for additional pictures which Barry provided with-in and hour of me asking. For the financing we worked with Steve Farmer and again he was very clear on what our contract was going to be and not pushy at all when it came down to extended warranties and such. We were excited to get our new car so instead of having the vehicle shipped my wife and I jumped on a plane to Kentucky to pick up the vehicle and drive it back. Bachman had Alex Rosas pick us up at the airport and he showed us all of the features of the car and had the ONstar and XM radio ready to go for our 1700 mile trip. Needless to say this is the best experience I have had buying a vehicle and look forward to going to Bachman again to get our next vehicle. read more
