Tip for USA travelers: USA sets itself a part in service when you go to restaurants but Europe is a bit different and have lower standards when it come to service. So be nice to your server and hostesses and they tend to take care of you better. I chatted with the server and complimented her on her ability of English language and she kept checking on me as often as she could but she ignored most of tables around me.

I got the egg sandwich with smoked salmon which was flavorful and appetizing. My husband got the vegan burger which he enjoyed as well. The only area for improvement would be the pace of service. It took a few glances and close to 20 min in between getting our drinks and ordering our food and we weren't even there during the lunch time rush. But all in all, I would come back here for a quiet lunch and afternoon coffee.

The bartenders were super nice and friendly (always a pleasant surprise) and were talking to the other regulars about what they did last night and what they plan to do after work. Super casual. It seemed like they were also very knowledgeable about beer so if you're not sure, you can consult with them to get recommendations. The beer was great and there were a lot of options. The location is near the park and also near a tram stop if you want to take public transport after your beers (or beer tour, in my case). I hope to do the beer tour again when I'm in Amsterdam and therefore come back to Craft & Draft.

Wooden tables and finishing, black chalkboard, 40 taps and a pleasant bar man who is knowledgable about beer. This is a good place for a pint and there will be options to fit whatever taste you have. I got a lovely IPA recommended to me and really enjoyed it. It's quite far out the centre, but that's actually a good thing and it's worth the walk. If you like craft beer and find yourself in Amsterdam you should make the effort to visit craft & draft.

There is great pub right around the corner. This is well worth revisiting. Just great vibes, the whole area was so chill. The Border, Bar1890 and this area very cool on my redo list. This is the only restaurant in the Jaz Hotel which is by Ajax ArenA…read more The restaurant is small but the menu is pretty good for dinner: Tante Door' chicken; Hotdog of the week (Weekly changing hotdog created by our chefs), Lamb shank, Flat iron steak, Mac and cheese, BBQ chorizo, corn, Rib eye from Finland, King prawn skewer, garlic spaghetti, and Indian vegetable curry. Lunch menu is much smaller and limited to hot dog, Chicken sandwich and Burger. Despite being very simple, the food quality and taste were excellent, however the price was on a higher side on what you would pay for burger (20 Euro) or hot dog (16 Euro). I did order and liked the Indian Vegetarian Curry dish there a lot as the coconut flavored rice was very delicious. I actually ate that dish twice while I was there. The service in the restaurant is outstanding.
