Arman's Pet Grooming

With my 1 year old Pomeranian due for her grooming, I've been through several local spots as well…read moreas big pet stores in the area none of which were to my liking. After doing my research, I contacted Arman's and set up an appointment for this past Thursday at 10:00 A.M. The women on the phone was very nice explained they did one pet at a time, my "Sansa' would never be in a cage and she would be ready in 90 minutes to 2 hours. Arrived at 10 AM located in strip mall, nice big clean place. Explained what I wanted done, and left the princess. Exactly 90 minutes later I was contacted to tell me the puppy was ready and she was great during the entire grooming. When I went to pick her up two things stood out. First off when I pick her up from the groomer she is agitated and nervous. Not today, she was in great spirits playful and happy. Secondly was the great job that was done on her coat. She has tons of hair very heavy and the job they did was nothing short of spectacular. I can say without hesitation this will be my go to spot for my puppy in the future. Simply OUTSTANDING!

She takes only a dog at a time (or two if you have two, but essentially one client at a time), so you don't have to worry about them being pent up in a cage for hours. You can also stay if you want, so I chose to for my pups first hair cut to make sure he was behaving and not lashing out in fear. He was so calm, and well behaved so I knew he felt comfortable in her hands. I definitely recommend Armans and have already to others who have gone and loved it too.

Clean Paws Pet Salon & Resort - More chopped off hair, not grooming, shaver used by someone with wrong blade. Hair was 2" & should have been 1" uniformly all over body.

They're open Saturdays, which is a huge plus for me. I was able to drop off at 8 AM and he was ready by 11. We will definitely be back. We have tons of recommendations and I wish we would've gone sooner.

I had been satisfied with this groomer and was sending all 4 of my dogs there until a very…read moreconcerning incident involving my oldest dog, a nearly 15-year-old long-haired sheepdog mix with sensitive skin. Four days after her grooming appointment (Dec 26), she became painful when her neck was touched. When I removed her collar, the underside of her neck was raw, irritated, scabbed, and bleeding. Her collar was filthy, foul-smelling, and full of buildup. Putting a dirty collar back onto a freshly groomed senior dog--and saying nothing to the owner--is not okay. The groomers were told at drop-off that she already had scabs under her arms and across her chest. Those areas were soaked and improved, but no one mentioned the condition of her neck, which should have been obvious during grooming. I am a veterinarian, and I have since had to medically treat this injury. This could have been addressed much earlier with basic care and communication. What is most troubling is the lack of follow-up. I attempted to contact this business by phone call, text, and email and received no response. I am sharing this so other pet owners--especially those with senior dogs or pets with skin issues--are aware. Communication, hygiene, and transparency matter. I will not be returning.
