TL;DR Kitten came sick and with fleas The original BabyElueEyes Ragdolls business page was removed along with my original review that I posted on July 15th 2020. I can only imagine that the cause was the large amount of negative feedback that filled the review page. Business reviews cannot be deleted so the only way to purge reviews is to recreate the entire page. I am rewriting my review as I feel visibility of this issue is important. The kitten I receive in July came with fleas and upper respiratory infection symptoms. The fleas and illness was confirmed by my vet a few days later. Between my other cat taking preventative flea treatments and no other animals entering the house, I can guarantee the fleas came with the kitten. The kitten was also sick with what is believed to be feline herpes and needed de-worming due to a giardia infection. The symptoms of sickness were eye discharge and nose discharge, sneezing, plus diarrhea from the parasite. This is not an isolated incident. After posting my original review I was in touch with number of individuals whom had purchased a cat from Jeanine. Most of which had a near identical experience with receiving sick flea ridden cats. I am also sad to report that a few of these people's kittens were in worse condition that mine. Many of Jeanine's customers ended up leaving reviews on her original business page and several were distressing to read. Over the last few months my kitten's respiratory symptoms have improved to a degree, but he has been diagnosed with chronic rhinitis. Clearly FHV was running rampant in the environment and sadly kittens can be severely harmed by the clinical infection. To my understanding, many of the effected kittens were still showing symptoms weeks to months later. Needless to say, no one should ever be receiving a flea ridden, sick cat from a breeder. I am incredibly saddened that cats are being raised in a sub optimal environment. I did send an email to Jeanine expressing my frustrations and for what it is worth she did apologize. She stated that she normally has the kittens' flea treated, but due to complications with vet availability that did not happen. This apology did not address the issue that there are fleas in her environment! Kitten health issues aside, there were other problems. Jeanine did not provide a contract guaranteeing health or that the kitten will be going to a loving home. In fact, there were no contracts at all! The declawing contract is at best a verbal agreement. In hindsight this should have been a huge red flag. Communication was also poor overall. After receiving my deposit, I didn't get any updates about new litters to select a cat. I only found out from a post on her Facebook page of available kittens. It appears that some of my information was mixed up too. After selecting a kitten, Jeanine stated she would be giving updates and sending pictures of the kitten every two weeks. From this point until pickup, I never got any of these updates. I brought it up a few times giving benefit of the doubt since some of my information was mixed up before, but she would reply stating she would be home later to take pictures and then never send any. I am skeptical that maybe these updates were not sent due to obvious kitten health issues, but I can't prove that. She would, however, frequently post available kittens and other posts on her personal page which sows more doubts about what was going on. Also, my questions were usually only partially answered and her replies were vague. Shortly after posting my original review, Jeanine Saviano blocked me from her personal Facebook page along with anyone else that posted negative feedback. There was also a quite bit of a stir (much of which took place in review comments) where the issue escalated to local authorities prompting an investigation. I am uncertain of the investigations status as of the last several weeks (at the time of writing). Jeanine has claimed to have been "cleared of any wrongdoing" in an online complaint forum so take that for what you will. Jeanine seems to have focused on the TICA aspect of this issue and seems to really be trying to brand herself as TICA certified. However, to my knowledge TICA doesn't have any customer protections to guarantee that a breeder is in fact following their guidelines. To prevent this from getting any longer I've omitted other details, information that came to light later, and some of my speculations. Wrapping this up I would like to state that Jeanine Saviano, owner of BabyBlueEyes Ragdolls, is not a reputable breeder and has been scaming her customers. I wish I did more research into this breeder prior to enabling her with my money as they are several serious allegations that existed in her previous Facebook reviews and from complaints in online forums. I would like to share my extremely heart breaking experience with Jeanine and her cat mill. In February of 2019 I bought an extremely sick kitten from her. When I showed up to get him the smell of cat urine could be smelled before she opened the door. Once I entered her home I quickly realized it was freezing inside and she did not have the heat on. This is in February in Massachusetts. She explained that due to her health problems she ran warm and didn't want to have her heat running. There were a few adult cats running around that looked sickly. My husband and I quickly realized that we were not at a reputable breeder. My husband spotted a very small skinny underweight sick kitten walking by. He immediately picked him up and asked if this was the one we were buying. It was. Jeanine explained that he had caught a cold when he went to be neutered. She got out a brown bottle with no label and put some "medicine" in a to go bottle for us and said that this will help until we get him into out vet. I drove almost 500 miles to get this kitten and once I saw the conditions that he was living in and the condition that the kitten himself was. I paid her and left. There was no way I would leave him with her. I wish I could of saved all of the cats in her possession. When we arrived home and I took him to our vet. It was clear that it was more then just a cold like Jeanine had stated. He was fiv positive. My 8 week old kitten weighed 1 and half pounds. He was absolutely pitiful. We were not sure he was going to make it through the week. But we nursed him back to a healthier state. But it was obvious that my poor sweet baby was never going to be completely healthy. So for the next 3 years I did everything in my power to make sure that my boy did not suffer. And live the happiest best life that he could. And I'm the end. Despite every effort of me,my family, our family vet and the emergency vet my poor sweet minnow passed at 3 years old from respiratory distress brought on by fiv that he had caught from her disgraceful cat mill. My whole family is completely heart broken. Jeanine prays on cat lovers that love cats and want to give them an amazing home with lots of love. Because she knows that no one could ever leave and not bring home their sick kitten that they just paid over 1000$ for. Because it would be cruel to leave any animal with her. Also the following year Jeanine made a face book post begging for money because one of her kittens had gotten a shower curtain wrapped around his neck and she did not notice until the was curtain was embedded in its neck and need surgery. I am going to show the picture of what she posted so you can see for yourself. That type of injury doesn't happen in a day. This poor kitty was suffering for who knows how long before she even noticed! Shame on her! When you put yourself in a position to care for animals that is what you do. You care for them. And from what I have seen she doesn't care for anyone but herself. The cat mill needs to be shut down and Jeanine should be banned from ever owning another animal. I honestly don't know how she can sleep at night knowing the awful life she is making his poor sick cats have because she wants to keeping breeding them for her own financial gain. BabyBlueEyes Ragdolls Cattery run by Jeanine Saviano is an inhumane backyard breeder. You will encounter unbelievable neglect and deal with many lies. If you are a cat lover, you will feel sickened by this breeder and her cruel practices and shocked at her audacity of feeling no remorse and just carrying on like all of this is normal. My 10 week old ragdoll kitten that I picked up July 2021 had feline herpes virus, fleas, underweight, suckling (weaned too early), swollen eyes, potty accidents. Also was not dewormed or spayed, although the cattery website explicitly states the kittens will be vaccinated, dewormed and spayed. My kitten had never been seen by a licensed vet ever. One week prior to getting my kitten, I also purchased a 4 year old retired Queen (see picture). Jeanine did not provide any recent medical records and when I took her to the vet found out she had not been spayed. Jeanine also tells many lies or evades answering questions. One lie is the actual address of her cattery. It's listed on the website and FB page such as 91 Chase Ave. Webster, MA but she texted me as I was just about to leave my house and told me to go to 11 Ensfield Road, Warwick, Rhode Island instead. She claimed she moved there. Jeanine said her exhusband and her 24 year old son were taking care of the cats in Webster. However, when animal control went there, they didn't find any cats or kittens. Jeanine apparently has another secret location in MA where she is warehousing these poor neglected sick animals. Another lie is that because she moved, she doesn't have a vet yet for the kittens. The truth is, it is a short drive between Warwick and Webster, so you wouldn't even have to change vets. There are many vets in Rhode Island anyway. The real truth is that Jeanine has never taken any of her cats or kittens to the vet. There is no vet. Jeanine is a poor communicator and every interaction feels like you're being scammed or it's a hustle. For instance, she kept changing the time and date I should pickup. I texted her several times to send me the vet references and no response. She told me at the last second to go to a different location for pickup. Other high quality, legitimate, reputable breeders give the new parents a lot of information regarding their new ragdoll kittens, food, litter, health care, etc... There is no quality going on here. Many people, past and present, have received sick kittens from this breeder and have reported the conditions to the MSPCA. They are well aware of this terrible breeder. Unfortunately no action has ever been taken to rescue the animals and shut this place down, so the mother cats and kittens will continue to suffer. Please do not support this operation. Yelp is hiding my bad review, but do your research and you will see this place is not a nice place for cats and kittens. I adopted a male cream kitten born 5/2 from Jeanine last weekend (7/16) The kitten was covered with fleas, along with having an upper respiratory infection the second I saw him, however I only noticed on the ride home, that he had fleas and was sneezing and had boogers all in his nose. To Jeanines credit, she did reimburse me for flea medicine, along with the medicine for the infection, but not the $50 visit charge at the vet. I'm disappointed that I paid $1400 (Original price was $1500 but he isn't neutered, thus I do not have a TICA certificate. She did say they have flea treatment when they are neutered but that doesn't excuse the fact.) for a kitten, and he was in that condition. She should have notified me that he was sick, and I would have waited a bit until he recovers and had some medicine. The kitten however he really is a sweet little guy. After he was cleaned (the first thing I did was give him a flea bath, we have other cats and fleas are nasty) he is a really friendly, happy little kitten. He loves to be around me and is interested in our other cats, however I'm not letting him near them until he's no longer sick. He's playful, has been eating and drinking, and his overall personality is great. It isn't the little guys fault. He's been a trooper and I'm glad he's doing better, but I worry for the other ones that may still be sick and have fleas. She doesn't live with the cats, I picked up him in Rhode Island however she lives in Massachusetts. I don't believe she goes there every day, or every other day, but I do not know. Her communication wasn't excellent, but in her defense she did respond to my messages with relative swiftness, however only giving me information about the kittens when I asked. Lastly, first kitten I was going to adopt died, according to Jeanine it was from no longer eating the food. She told me and gave me other options for kittens including ones of the same color pattern, but thought I should mention that. Again, it really saddens me that I paid so much in hopes of getting a breeder that would take good care of my future companion, and not to get it. These little kittens need her help to be happy and healthy, and it was quite apparent that she didn't give these guys enough attention.
