The studio is beautifully themed and branded. I really appreciated the London Underground murals on the wall from escalators to tube doors to giant tickets and even a little cartoon rat! The travel theme extends to lovely antique cases and trunks around the shop too. The permanent staff here have all been really friendly and looked after us well. The art I have seen has been good too! It's very clean and the barber shop is well separated from the tattooing area.

He hadn't even had the decency to check the email, so HE DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WHAT TATTOO I WANTED. Since it was already very late, he lied, saying that it was not possible to apply the print of my background's tattoo on my skin and that therefore HE WOULD HAVE DONE IT HANDMADE. I reminded him that the amount of red was excessive and that the main tattoo was the Japanese writing. After 3 hours and £ 280.00 ( I was meant to pay £ 250,00, but they asked for more money even if I waited for 2hours because he was late and he had to try to prepare my tattoo in 30 mins) I found on my leg something that was not even comparable to my idea. I contacted George, the store owner, and he told me that it's normal that my tattoo was different because they are artists and they want to do something unique (OF COURSE I HAVE EMAILS TO PROVE EVERYTHING, EVERY SINGLE WORD). When I told him it was my 4th tattoo he changed his mind and decided to meet me to find a solution. After our meeting he promised me to talk with the others tattoo artists to try to fix my tattoo. After 13 days I decided to send him an email (he din't contact me at all) and George replied: "Hi Mike I just had the chance to talk with my guys"- what a coincidence!!! And guess what: NO ONE was good too much to sort the problem out. So Geroge's offer was to GIVE A CHANCE TO Michele (the one who made my tattoo). Guys would you ever let someone who did something wrong, put his hands once again on your skin? And then...a CHANCE??? GEORGE WE ARE TALKING ABOUT MY SKIN. THIS IS NOT A JOKE!!! I WANT PROFESSIONALISM, NOT CHANCES!!! During our meeting I said to George I wouldn't let Michele touch my skin once again and he promised me that for sure one of the other guys would be happy to help me. For two months George promised many things and at the end...nothing!!! Suck a shame cause I got my 1st tattoo in his store (AMAZING JOB MADE BY LUKE) To sum it up: Delay of 2 hours Michele didn't have any clue about my tattoo Paid £ 280,00 instead of £ 250,00 George (store owner) promised me to sort the problem out....how? It is very much a boys studio with comics and mexican wrestling masks on the walls and MF Doom playing gently in the background. The main tattoo artist Marcus is not the chattiest guy in the world but I'm completely in love with both tattoos he's done. The shop is refreshingly unpretentious and you'll find all sorts of locals rolling through here, with them also having a body piercing service. Though they may lack the heavyweight reputation, the quality this tucked away studio puts out is more than deserving. I wholeheartedly recommend.

Do not go here, she has no customer service, treats her customers like a number…read more When i told her that i have fibromyalgia, she smirked and said well you don't look like you're in pain. Get to the back of the queue. I literally wanted to scream shut up in her face, how dare she, the pain i go through daily, the pain killers i have to take and she has the cheek to be so disrespectful. Disgusting. She has no empathy, and discriminates against people with invisible disabilitities. My piercing got infected because she didn't change the bar to the correct size, put in one that was way too big, then she told me to find another piercer to change the bar, the other piercer put in the wrong size, had to spend more money paying another piercer to change it, then the piercing itself (twice), my cheek started to swallow the piercing and heal over it, waited 2 months for her to just sort it out, to the point where i now just want it removed. Which would've taken her 2 seconds, but as she doesn't care about her previous customers she treated me like trash. Anyone who has already waited an hour and half in a queue for the piercing, who has to come back due to an issue, should be given priority. If i was in the queue i would understand, and in sure everyone else would feel the same, as they may need to return too. But when you get an infection because of her aftercare she doesn't care, she's just rude. Don't come here if you want someone professional and wants to make sure that your piercing has healed correctly. I was told time and time again that her service was bad, and ignored it. Not again. Queues are ridiculously long and she only provides 3 chairs. There are 3 workers, but only one person who can actually deal with piercings, all she cares about is moving on to the next paying customer. Cheaper is not better. I literally went back and forth to her shop, waiting for it to open again, back and forth from the doctors for my infection. Multiple piercing shops trying to find someone who deals with cheeks and then had to have another piercer change the bar twice! And she didn't give a dam. Hopefully she learns from this and starts treating her loyal customers better. My original review: Always go here, she's great - i was wrong, annoyed that I've recommended her to so many people, never again.

I booked the appointment and paid a £20 deposit and only when I got the confirmation stating the address in Ilford I realised the mistake and cancelled the booking within 7 min (this was late night so wouldn't get picked up by the shop immediately anyway) I was aware of the non refundable deposit but due to the nature of the mistake I was confident that I could call them up next day and explain and get the £20 refunded. It took 40 min for someone to pick up and after explaining the issue the phone was passed to a manager. The lady I talked to was rude and hostile throughout the whole conversation. She told me it wasn't her problem and not her mistake and how it couldn't be possible. I told her that I would take a video clip of me being directed to the website by google so she could see how I couldn't have known. After reviewing the video she comes to the same conclusion that it wasn't her problem and she wouldn't give me the money. I haven't used this tattooist but I'm officially still a paying customer because if this incident and I have never experienced customer service so poor. I tried to explain and not blaming them just asking nicely for a refund but she wasn't having it. Wouldn't recommend doing business with this kind of shady business.
