He went to the front to notify someone, but when he returned, he told me I should "mind my business," stating that this was a small store and they could not do anything unless the child had left the store. I would like it noted that the child's mother NEVER came looking for him during this time (roughly 30 mins). It was only after my husband, another woman, and I went throughout the store searching for help, including looking for Spanish speakers to communicate with the child, that his mother was eventually located (by staff) inside the store. The employee (Tyler) who told me to "mind my business" is fortunate I did not follow his advice. If I had ignored the situation, no one would have been monitoring this child. He could have wandered into traffic, been taken, or been seriously hurt. This situation was handled extremely poorly by Tyler. I am thankful for the staff members who eventually stepped in to assist us. I am filing this grievance in hopes that no child is ever left in danger again, and that no future bystanders are told to "mind their business" when raising concerns about the safety and wellbeing of an unattended child. Do better.

They told her that they couldn't hold furniture because of too many flaky people.....again this was 15 minutes after they had agreed to sell it to her and told her to come pick it up. My wife has shopped there for 5 years and thought she had a good relationship with this company but obviously they do not care about repeat customers.
