I purchase a few of these diapers and was unhappy with the product.
1st off, the company sends you diapers in need of major shrinking. So you do have to prep them in order to see how the diaper even fits on your child. I made the mistake by prepping all of the diapers at the same time, along with the doublers I purchased. If you want a hassle-free return, don't prep them or better yet don't touch the diapers.
I know prepping comes with buying new cloth diapers, but in most all companies you can still return after prep work. In regards to these diapers, you have to shrink them in order to see if the diaper system will even work with your child. For my son, they did not work, the diaper was still huge even after the prep work and it seems its in need of a few more snaps for a better fit. It would unfold itself and not stay on my son... he is almost 2 years old... I was completely unsatisfied, regretting my purchase. I hate to return items, but these diapers rendered useless in my cloth stash. So, via e-mail, I contacted this company in regards for a return of purchase. Instead of receiving a hassle-free return, I received an email asking for photos of my son wearing the diaper...So they can see and help me fit it on him properly... Very unprofessional and very uncomfortable as a customer to have to send photos. Regardless of my feelings, I sent photos of my son wearing the diaper and I was told i was not snapping the diaper properly. ..even though, prior to these photos sent, I searched on youtube on how to use this specific diaper. I snapped this diaper exactly the same. Its not rocket science, there are just a few snaps and one way to snap it...
In this entire process, I felt I was treated rudely.
After multiple emails back and forth with this company, after feeling like I needed to argue my point for being unsatisfied, I finally received one stating "I will take them back to settle this... please just return them."
So, I sent back my entire purchase, including doublers and wool liners, for a refund. I kept back the one diaper my son barely wet in... I made the company aware that I have prepped these diapers and doublers by washing in hot water per their instructions on their website.. In order to shrink to size...
I then received a phone call by this company, accusing me of washing my diapers "many many many many many times, not just prepped" (I quote!)
I could not believe my ears, being accused of washing more than I had. I thought I was being honest by keeping the diaper my son BARELY soiled with the tiniest bit of urine, no one would have ever been able to tell; Instead I am being accused of dishonesty. She then went on to say that she cannot refund me for any of my other merchandise because they have been washed (prepped) even though NONE of it was worn on my son. All was simply prepped. She stuck to her word on my refund for the diapers even though (according to her) they have been washed "many many many many times"... but the rest of the product I purchased - the doubles and wool liners- they cannot refund me for. Really? A company "can not" give a costumer a refund? I do not enjoy confrontation such as this and when I called her back I felt as though I was fighting my case again. She made me feel uncomfortable having to convince her that I did not use anything on the diapers but a few cycles of JUST water for prepping. She said I must've used fabric softener, etc. then concluded I must have different water.
I'm only receiving about half of my money back...
I have never received such poor costumer service. I am disappointed in this business, it is clear that 100% costumer satisfaction is NOT a priority for them.
I am a small business owner as well, a thriving business I will add, so when I read about this company I thought it would be great to support another business that started out with family and is 100% USA made. I regret that decision to the fullest.
In my company, I receive heavily used, torn, even broken, items back and if my customer wants a full refund - they will get that. Otherwise, I will simply fix or replace their item and send it back free of charge. That is how you create a thriving business with HAPPY costumers.. costumers who are happy to tell others about your business.
I made the mistake by purchasing from Babeegreens..I would recommend for people who are in search of a cloth diaper similar to theirs to go to a company with a return policy that will allow for you to try out the diaper with the ability of returning if you are unsatisfied.
Speaking of return policy, their website does not even have a return policy written out for you to view before making a purchase... Apparently, once you make your purchase there is a return policy at the bottom of the page. I had no idea. Also, you are supposed to print out that page as your receipt. The company claims to be green and will not send you a paper receipt.
