When walking up to the bar because we couldn't get drinks at our table, the bartender ignored us while serving people that had just walked in. We wanted to pay for drinks with our card but she just slapped the bill down and we had to pay cash. When we first walked in it was not that busy to where we should have been ignored. At least gotten our drinks while she tended to other tables.

Sites are all pull through with a level concrete pad that will accept 40"+ RVs. The site is close to a park, a dog park, and a lake which allows swimming, fishing, and kayaking/canoeing. The only con is that they do not have a lot of natural shade or mature trees around the sites which makes it very hot.

As for hauling your camper, don't be surprised if they stick you in a small site or a site with 30 amp. They may ask you for your specs but it doesn't mean a whole lot when it comes to selecting a site for you and your camper. Be sure to have a 50 amp adapter if you require one before coming.

They are always doing preventive maintenance on the buildings, sites and cleaning up the sites. The laundry room and restrooms are clean. The staff are professionals, courtesy, and friendly. Willing to assist on matters all the times. The front desk staff are exceptional. The park is close to downtown and the water park. Catch the bus/shuttle or walk. We have made our reservations for next year already to get insure we get our favorite campsite. Make your reservations early for a site or in the cabin. We have that ADK fever! Also, when talking with the manager Wen about the television situation, he said it was an issue with the Dish Network receiver. This was at 8 in the morning. When I went to the office to ask about the tv situation at 4:00 pm, Wen hadn't called anyone about the situation. I would recommend this campground for the children friendly activities, but an absolute zero for any issues about amenities in your camp trailer. The main man Paul has gone above and beyond to help, but the manager is only concerned about your money !

On one side of us, we had neighbors smoking weed right next to our windows. Our cabin REAKED of marijuana. This continued after we politely asked them if they could step away from our cabin when doing such as I am allergic and I also have a 9 month old. On Friday our other neighbors were extremely disrespectful and blasting music, yelling and running around being by crazy. The next day we heard a ton of fighting and yelling from the family. That night my baby was awoke by screaming and fighting. Leading to domestic violence and the police showed up. We hurried and packed up and left when we heard "he has a knife!!!" I have a 9 month old baby and it was complete chaos and I was taking no chances.m. I called to get some sort of refund or credit and was denied all. We had an absolutely awful experience. I love that it is close to home and my baby loved the river. I was really hoping that we would be able to get a do over. Being denied after explaining the situation and how distraught my baby was, made me so disappointed. I'm sad we are going to be cancelling our family trip and looking elsewhere. Extremely upset and sad that no compensation or anything was given after this terrible frightening experience.

Campsite wasn't cleaned up or mowed before we got there, grass was long and bits of garbage were scattered about. The people next to us left the day after we arrived and no one came to clean up or mow that campsite either. The people 2 campers down had 3 small dogs that barked constantly, NON STOP. The camp store doesn't open until 10am (lazy), so if you need a staple you're out of luck, not that you'd want to purchase anything there as items are dirty and dusty. The "swimming pond" is a green, fowl smelling sludgy mess. Both small playgrounds consist of poorly maintained, outdated, unsafe equipment. There are two HUGE garbage piles across from one of the playgrounds to look at and cigarette butts litter the grounds.The bathrooms are disgusting, the one by the pond someone vomited in the sink, we noticed Tuesday and Thursday was still there. The showers and toilets near the other park had the same pile of garbage outside the whole week and the bathroom itself was constantly filthy. The worst part of our trip were the unsupervised teenagers and children riding recklessly on golf carts the entire time, obviously the owners of the campground are unconcerned with safety or liability because i saw one of the employees sitting on the bench watching these kids race carts up and down the hill. I had to ask a group of them who were racing past our site and darting around parked vehicles at 11pm to STOP. Children run around at all hours with little no no supervision. Also, beware, this campground does not "allow" you to use your air conditioning, a dangerous request for anyone elderly or with small children as it is quite hot 84-90 degrees in August making temperatures dangerously high in trailers. They also have a SERIOUS fly problem, they have no traps or zappers to help combat the infestation and the picnic tables are so greasy and dirty or attracts them more. All in all an unpleasant stay.... Save your money and seek a campground where the owners take pride in ownership
