I brought in 4 shirts and 2 pairs of jeans. 3 of my shirts were still stained. According to the explanation, they weren't able to fully remove the stains without damaging the shirts. I came home, used dawn soap, lime juice, baking soda and vinegar let it sit for 1hr then soaked the shirts in borax. Guess what? The stains magically disappeared. I spent $45 dollars on this business to basically do absolutely nothing. I'm never returning to this establishment. read more

I took a king size bedspread in to be cleaned. It's washing instructions were cold water and they told me no problem. I didn't take a close look until I put in the bed. It was badly faded. When I talked to the owner she was quite condescending. Told me it's the way fabrics are made these days. I would've appreciated at least I'm sorry that it happened but unfortunately it was out of our control. Not her dismissive attitude. Will not go back! read more

Only because I can't give one star. Dropped off a leather jacket to have the sleeves shortened. Weeks later I pick up and pay $80. I get the jacket home and the alterations weren't even made and jacket was filthy. Counter workers didn't know how to refund the $ (again; 80 dollars). I wouldn't trust this business to watch water boil. Horrid. I've never, EVER been charged for nothing that way before. Bad bad bad. Awful. I'm running out of adjectives. read more

This place really knows how to get your clothes etc clean and looking great. I have never had to wait longer then the week that I was told to have any repairs. They did an outstanding bathing suit repair. read more

I brought my slipcovers for my sofa in to be cleaned...I have no idea what process they used. I noticed right away that they were quite wrinkled. They had soiled areas that I was able to remove with just a cloth and water. They had shrunk so badly that I cold not zip the back. I cannot recommend this business. read more

We took it to Babbels expecting it to cost a large sum of money to be treated and hoping it could be restored. I dropped of 3 pair of golf pants at Babbel Cleaners because the usual company I use is temporarily closed for few months because the owner is having surgery. No big deal I will support another local business. WOW DID I MAKE A MISTAKE!!!! I needed a button on 1 pair of pants, a slight rip repaired in another, and 1 had a tiny hole inside the pocket I wanted sewed. I dropped them off and they told me it was gonna be like 3 weeks. Ok, what are my options really I was already there so I left them to be fixed. I asked approximately how much it would be and the clerk replied, " it shouldn't be too much but who ever fixes them assigns the price." In my past experiences I was thinking like $10 or $12 MAX for the total. I show up to pick them up after the pick up date and the total was $40.00. YES I'LL WAIT WHILE YOU COMPREHEND THAT.............$40.00. It said $12 for a .25 button and $14 ea. for a 30 second sewing job on to tiny holes. AGAIN THAT WAS $40.00. I WAS IN COMPLETE SHOCK. I asked to speak with a manager and they told me they were to busy to come out and speak with me. My guess they knew they ripped me off. I paid the $40 and will never be back. NEVER. I also work at a local restaurant that uses them for dry cleaning and am working with management to find another company. I'm shocked Babbel is still open after decades of ripping people off. NEVER AGAIN........I MORE TIME $40 for 2 minutes of work and a .25 button. WOW. Please don't support this company. read more
