Quite slow service as far as taking your order, bringing drinks and first course being served was approx 45 minutes and there were only another 2 tables in so wasn't busy. Curry itself was okay but tasted better and then afterwards we waited for half an hour before they asked if we wanted the bill. Advised we wanted desserts and they advised they had run out and fetched the bill. Still charged full price for 2 courses despite only being served with 1 and very slow service, all in all we were in there for almost 2 hours. Lack of management impression, won't be visiting again.

It was reopened as "Café Shamms" specialising in the all you can eat buffet which can be pretty hit and miss. However Café Shamms seems to get it pretty spot on with a reasonable selection pretty much all the time. I've been in an evening and ordered a la carte and it was really nice but it comes into its own on a lunch time with all you can eat for £4.95. They also do an evening buffet (see their website for details). There's always starters available and at least two choices of curry but not always desert (although always tea and coffee). Everything is prepared fresh and if anything runs out they whip up a fresh batch for you. The guys are nice and friendly and the service is effecient. I've been to quite a bit of AYCE buffets in the USA but to me this place blew it out of the water!! The variety, choices, different cultures in here was seriously amazing and beautiful. I felt like a harmonious place could be eaten here with many different types of races and cultures. I took over 20 photos of what the inside and what I picked for myself and also what some of the kids had as their meals. Overall they were soo soo excited and happy that they got to eat here and were able to pick and choose what they wanted! For the price, experience and less headache for the adults this by far was one of the best choices we made during our UK trip!
