They completed all that in a day & a 1/2 PLUS powerwashed the entire house, and removed every single leaf & pineneedle from my yard(1 acre)!! I saw a sign for Schley Painting in a neighbor's yard and called Josh who responded immediately, and he was doing the work a couple days later. Since I was not in town at the time, he sent me daily updates and texts, until the work was completed, which just took a couple of days. Plus he charged a very reasonable price. I had 2 bedrooms painted, all the ceilings and had a wall coat holder of some sort removed and drywall fixed and ready for me to paint. I also had a door replaced too. Some of the workers were very respectful of my home and ensured that the dust from fixing the drywall was vacuumed during the process, floors and furniture protected and others didn't. I think if perhaps the owner was not pre-occupied it would have been a more successful job.

We got 3 other quotes, they were all pretty close but what set Top Notch and Brian apart were his expertise, enthusiasm, and you could really feel how much he cares about his work and his customers from the first phone call. He's very responsive and was quick to come give us a detailed estimate. He can also take a credit card which was a huge plus for us to be able to use a no interest card we have. He had some great ideas and suggestions and actually has a great carpenter on staff that replaced some of our cedar shingles that were on their way out. They also soft washed the entire house, gutters, roof everything for us! Brian helped us pick out the perfect blue for our front door that gave it a great pop of color. He also offered to repaint a big metal compass decoration that was starting to rust a little bit which was a nice treat and just goes to the level of care he has for every single job. His crew showed up by 8:30 pretty much every morning and are all really great guys. They all cleaned up after themselves and were conscientious and friendly. Their work is unbelievable, how neat and clean they kept everything. They worked very quickly but were also thorough. We just replaced all our windows with new black windows and we were a little nervous about them getting messy, but those guys are so neat and precise they all look perfect! We had a few little spots on a punch list that we noticed and they were immediately addressed with no issue or grumbling. All of his employees are incredibly skilled at their trade, but also easy to talk to and humble nice guys. We had a little misunderstanding in the beginning with the pressure washing, but Brian absolutely went above and beyond to make sure we were thrilled. Brian is the kind of business owner that will be around for a long time with a great reputation because he does the right thing, takes pride in his work, and is on site almost every day making sure things come out perfect. We are so happy we hired Top Notch Painting and would recommend him and his team for all your painting needs!

Case in point - I am in the process of moving into a new home, which was delayed six months (covid, worker/material shortages, yada yada), after having to get out of my mom's home at break neck speed because of a super fast sell. The sell was at the tail end of caretaking my very sick, and then dying mother. I also inherited my mom's very large, destructive cat. I am telling you all this because it will give you an idea why I made, what I thought might be, the stupid decision to drag a very old, disgusting, stained couch to the new place, rather than have the cat destroy a brand new couch. When it was rolled in, and I got to see it in bright light, I kinda freaked, but decided to try having it professionally cleaned before going to a plan B. Being new to the area, I looked at Yelp to see who might be available to do this for me and was prompted by Yelp to use the request quotes thing, so I did. I received a number of responses saying that all these companies were booked up, and a response from Beantowns Finest, with open dates, times, and very clear information about prices, which were VERY Reasonable. Owner/operators Jesica and Randy were very responsive to my questions, easy to communicate with, and easy to set an appointment time with as well. Randy showed up early for the appointment, was very professional and pleasant, and proceeded right away to turn my nightmare couch into an almost new looking couch - it was freaking amazing, and a waaaaaay better result than I could have dared to hope for. He also worked his magic on three filthy gabbeh rugs that I was fearing were doomed as well. I just can't believe what he was able to do with them. I was also grateful that all this was done without a huge truck thucka thucking in the driveway, miles of hoses, and doors open to the cold for hours. He has portable machines that work with a bathroom sink and the house's hot water. He left the entire area cleaner than before he arrived - which can sometimes be an issue with this sort of service. the final price was so reasonable, I bumped the check up a bit to make it what I thought was more fair. I will definitely be using them for furniture and rug cleaning, and any other cleaning services I may need, from now on. Thank you guys so much!

She scheduled us for a few days out and communication was great. On the day she texted to let me know she'd be 20 minutes late, and she was there on the dot when she said she'd be. She runs the business with her husband Randy and they brought two of their children to help. Listen: This is a REAL FAMILY BUSINESS! They were friendly and professional. They wore masks too. (Covid isn't over, friends.) They were all hands on deck for what was kind of a big job, and they did it. She even did an extra thing I'd forgotten to ask for and she made time for that as well. Their rates are fair, and I found out that they do a ton of other work too! On-site car washing and detailing, windows, power-washing, and painting, to name just a few things. They are professional and friendly. They sprayed 2 coats of semi on all the trim, mantle, doors, and stairs and the finish is without brush strokes and looks fantastic. They did routine wall and ceiling repairs plus a few more involved repairs and one tricky one and now you can't tell there was any wall defects. I have a 16 ft. vaulted ceiling and associated high walls which was no problem. Unique started on time and finished on time and were competitively priced. They cleaned up each night and at the end of the job. I used to paint for work and have always painted my own houses. My high ceiling prompted me to hire painters and I'm glad I did.
