We signed up for the summer special after trying Greenwich kempo and devita karate (both of those places are great as well, and suggest you try them out too). The summer special was a great deal, and I'll definitely be signing my daughter up afterwards. The instructors will take you out for a one on one if other classmates are more advanced. They are very patient in teaching, add humor but very firm at the same time. The other classmates watch you and also go gentle on you and have been extremely friendly. I don't know if the same teachers work there (at the time it was these two Olympic-level teachers that were phenomenal) but that year of learning Tae Kwon Do was one of the best and most important experiences/lessons of my life. Of course you learn the techniques, but they also taught me how to be respectful, discipline and be an overall good person (sounds cliche but it's true). I guess after looking at all the great reviews about 25 years after my experience with this place, their integrity has never wavered and I would recommend this place for sure. (And not in a cheesy way!) I would definitely recommend the sports skills class to anyone with a child in the 2.5-5 year range. My niece is learning so much and becoming so much more confident in her abilities. I'd also like to note the positive effect this has had on my boys day-to-day lives outside of tkd. Not only with their self-confidence physically, but the way which they interact with people.
