I have no complaints at all about my Dr. or medical care. That part has been good. Facility was…read moreclean, in good order. My frustration is with their unprofessional scheduling practices. I have been trying to get the other three members of my family scheduled for new patient appts with the same Dr. for three months now but the office refuses to book out more than 3 weeks. Each month I call and they tell me they are full for that month but refuse to book into the next month. When asked about this, I was told, "We had too many no shows when we booked further out." Really?!? They couldn't think of a better way to handle this? Like every other medical clinic in the country? Reminder calls perhaps? So, because they couldn't get their act together with reminder calls for other patients, I'm expected to spend time calling each month to see if I can get the rest of may family in?!? It's very disrespectful of our time and gives the impression they care more about revenue than patient care. (Not to mention they will lose patients this way, as the four of us are likely to switch to another practice with higher professional standards if not resolved.)

I called to get an appointment to have bloodwork done. I ended up needing to go to a specialist so…read morethey wanted to refer me to someone in Aiken. I requested to go to Columbia so they told me I had to find my own Dr to be reffered to. Um WHAT. Ive never had a Drs office tell me that. So I finally find a Dr and request the refferal. I call for an appointment to re do bloodwork. Arrive for appt and see a student NP or whatever she was. NEVER saw the actual Nurse Practitoner. The student didnt know answers to my questions so she was back and forth talking to Erin I assume. Then she tells me they dont do bloodwork but on a certain day. Ummm hello I was VERY specific what I wanted when I made the appt. The peson making the appt should know when what day they do bloodwork and should only make the appointment on that day. They wasted a hour and a half of my time. Month later and I STILL dont have the refferal. Stay FARRRR away from this clinic. Its a joke.

This is a generous 3 stars, mainly because the doctors are really great here…read more They are mostly med students doing their residency, and all but one of them have been fantastic. I only wish they'd stick around longer. I think they work here about 2 years. The check in, leaves a lot to be desired, you're kind of run through, like an assembly line. Also it takes forever to get a script filled. I often have to call a couple of times, before I get a response. They also never seem to answer, you just leave a message and hope for the best.
