Aberdeen doesn't have many places where to go for quick home/garden fixes or DIY, so in that way this store is quite handy. This is a place where we go for potted Christmas tree or plants/flowers - the quality here seems to be a bit better than Dobbies garden centre, where they look half dead :( Otherwise the quality of home stuff doesn't seem to be as good though for the price it costs. With a bit of research you would probably find cheaper options or better quality. Especially wood for fire or cleaning products. So this is not a great VALUE for money shop but rather quick fix life saver when no other options are available. read more

We used B and Q for our new kitchen two years ago but also recently for some changes in our lounge. Both online ordering and the service in store at Garthdee are outstanding- nothing is too much trouble and although we had to return goods due to errors on our part, again they were extremely helpful. read more
