You won't get run around sales pitches and garbage. Chad and his team are straight shooters. They are located on a back road in Limington, but don't let that deter you. Again, the service is by far the best I have seen in all the years of garage hopping. From car inspections to car repairs, they are capable of getting you back on the road in a timely manner. My only warning: When puling into their parking lot watch out for their garage dog, a harmless bulldog who likes to come out and say "hi" (as in he walks out, looks at you and then accompanies you back to the shop, no barking, no nothing.)

On Thursday, October 26, 2023, I was traveling down Rte 95, in the middle lane, going about 75mph. Suddenly a car in the fast lane ahead of me, swerved into the middle lane, only to reveal a deer crossing the road. I hit the deer square on! I got to the side of the road, police came, I was brought home (unhurt, my Volvo saved me). I called R Stewart, where my car was towed, to find out what I needed to do next. They connected my call to Dickie Stewart, who offered to call all the reputable body shops in the area, as well as Volvo in South Portland, to see the best and fast place to have my car repaired. I had never been in a situation like this and Dickie quickly took the situation out of my hands and handled it. Upon filling a police report I found out this had been an on going problem and they had been there multiple times to remove people from my bus.. Do any know any lawyers that could weigh on my legal rights here!?! 1) it was an in going problem I was only made aware of a month after it started... 2) I have it on good authority that the part is available from junk yards which leads me to believe they decided not to fix it at some point so as to not he held accountable for what had transpired while it was in their care.. 3) they were aware of said problem and didn't nothing to further secure my vehicle or the belongs within or to try tighten security if their lot not even putting up cameras.. just a fair warning to never bring your bus to Palmer springs company in Portland Maine

Will update later. Not sure of the bad ratings. I found staff very friendly and helpful and available when I needed questions answered. My truck was worse than anticipated, discovered after parts came off. Took longer than I was expecting. And was somewhat more expensive than I thought. But this was a big repair to frame and truck bed. Work was excellent best I can tell. Even my mechanic was impressed when he took a look. I would be back.

They towed my vehicle to their yard and went through my personal items in the vehicle and pulled…read moreout what they thought was "valuable" and moved it into one of their tow trucks. They claimed my vehicle was a total loss with a bent frame and they wanted the buy the title off from me. After a week, I replaced the lower control arm and ball joint and it was back on the road just like new. This place also charges a ton more than other surrounding places and I was charged a full day for my vehicle in their yard even though it got there at 11PM. They did not treat my vehicle well by getting a lot of dirt in it, and continuously forcing the door open past the fender when it wouldn't open the full length causing the fender to bend more than it already was and now a bend in the door. I would not trust this place every again with my own vehicles, and I hope no one else will either.

Two weeks later and I hadn't heard back from him so I texted for an update with no response. Again the following week I texted for an update and again no response. On 10/2/24 I again texted and said that I would give him until 5 pm today 10/4/24 to get back to me or I would be giving him an unfavorable review. I even called at 4:35pm and could only leave a voicemail. And still no response. Should you contact him good luck.

As I was an out of towner and desperate to have the repair to be able to drive all the way home, I was worried that this visit (especially a mobile visit) was going to cost a small fortune. His price was completely reasonable and a pleasant surprise! I drove over 10 hours home with NO ISSUES.
