They offered a tour of the facilities which where very clean and organized. We made a preliminary grooming appointment before the boarding and my dogs were treated like royalty. They did a great job grooming them and keeping them comfortable while they were in their care. Their prices for grooming and boarding where very competitive. I feel so fortunate to have found Paws First, which gives me the option to have my pets cared for in their own home. The ability to book online makes arranging for pet sitting so easy and convenient. Response time is always very quick, and the rates are reasonable for the peace of mind these people provide. I love getting email updates on how my dogs are doing. Even when they're naughty and get into the trash or have a little accident, everything is in order when I get home and my dogs are happy and loved. **Need to add an update because of one visit in particular. It has taken me a while to be able to write this. Over the Summer, I had the amazing folks from Paws First watching my dogs while I was away for the weekend out of state. My senior dog's health had been in decline for a while, but it didn't seem to be cause for too much concern- just typical old dog stuff. One night, her health took a very sudden and dramatic turn. It was clear that if she were brought in to the the vet that she would not be returning. I didn't want my old girl's last moments to be spent someplace unfamiliar. The staff at Paws First went above and beyond to provide extra care and comfort to her when she needed it most so I could race home to be with her. I am forever grateful for all they did for her.

What did we like? Facility - We were looking for a place with an area outside that has actual grass and the other kind they can still play on that doesn't get them all muddy. The other daycare and boarding places didn't have much room for pups to run around or it was just a warehouse and no grass. I swear my dog held his pee until we picked him up and walked him to the grass. This place has lots of room to run around and make them tired! They've got separate indoor areas for doggies that either need a break, a nap or just wants to sit up front with the staff. Staff - The staff is amazing!! They do get to know your dog because they are all animal lovers and they know their behaviors! It's so nice when we walk in and they're already greeting Chewy by name. He loves walking in here, he knows as soon as we turn into the parking lot and just pulls us right inside! It seems they always have fun working there and there's always a celebration, like a doggy birthday or pajama theme day or something. Fun staff for sure! Pricing - very affordable! They do half days and full days. The boarding at night is well priced as well.. and we know our Chewy will be able to run around and play during the day. Grooming - they do grooming, baths and nail trimming too! Cons Only thing i was concerned about in the beginning was not any staff present at night time when you board your dog overnight... but the staff reassured us there are alarms and systems in place where staff would be readily available if needed. They all live really close by. So it hasn't been a problem for us at all! I highly recommend this place for all you doggy needs! If they need exercise, socializing or just doggy friends instead of being home alone.. this is the place for them!
