I had the utilities disconnected on the 14th yet I'm being charged 398 dollars for utilities I didn't even use! I have never had this problem and my utility bills are always paid on time. I'd like to have them make the necessary review and adjustment. Even with 187 and 82 it doesn't add up to 398. Something is going on and they need to stop scamming people and raising their bills. I don't even use 398 dollars worth of electricity, the sewer and water appear fine. Read my meter two times in three weeks which is suspicious. Update; I got my bill fixed and I paid it once JEA confirmed it. So just watch your bills and make sure you are paying what you actually owe, not an inflated bill based on a mistake.

I won't say JEA is the worst electric / water provider I've ever had as it's just a tad bit by a little margin better than some of the EMCs I've belonged too; but then again we use to get yearly rebates from the EMCs. With this said let me say bless the linemen and the customer service agents for doing their jobs; I have nothing but respect for them. But when it comes to the leadership of JEA it's time for a change. It's time to sell JEA and privatize it to bring the customers better rates and service.

The first of several calls were frustrating due to the automated system and long wait times, and it was 48 hours before they called me back. But that was quickly forgotten thanks to the excellent follow-through. Samantha called me back and was incredibly friendly, patient, and efficient in setting up the service appointment. She made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Then Gerald, the technician, came out and truly impressed me. He was thorough and professional in the completion of the work. He addressed the wait due to staff training and professionally represented the company throughout. He carefully inspected everything and made sure the tank, lines, and hot tub heater hookup were all safe and working perfectly. Gerald is the perfect example of great on-site service. If Samantha is the voice of AmeriGas and Gerald is the face, then this company is in excellent hands. If you stay on hold too long they keep turning up the volume hoping you will get annoyed and hang up. I strongly urge you to not use Amerigas, find a local company where you can talk to a person in person, not a call center in India.

Customer Service Still Exists Y'all!!…read more I don't know about you but it seems that good ole customer service is almost a thing of the past . I don't normally write reviews but I felt like I needed to on this one. My gas fireplace hasn't worked in 2 years . I called the office to ask a question , Malaya (not sure if I'm spelling it right) answered and started trying to help troubleshoot the problem instead of just quickly making me an appointment. I was impressed that she cared enough and was making the time to try and help me! After trying several things, she realized it was going to need a technician to come out. I was overdue cleaning anyway. Chris came out and fixed the problem. He also showed me where some of the original install was done incorrectly from another company . That was also fixed and then he finished with a top to bottom cleaning! It felt good to have it fixed and working again! They both went above and beyond! They were so friendly, caring and nice and I appreciated it! There are still good people out there doing good things!! :)
