This place is located almost right next to the Capt Koepenik statue, and close to the castle island as well. It's in the basement, and is nicely themed with a jazz style decor. It was like a Berlin Speak Easy in a sense. I ordered off thier regular menu, but they do have specials that are only written in German - so no luck there. I got the crispy perch which sat on a helping of gherkin potato dill salad. the fish was crisp, and moist but did need a dash of salt, but the potato salad (which was served warm, fyi) was darn good. I'd definitely recommend this dish. 3 people in my group got the vegan ravioli, which according to them, tasted like cardboard with the texture of chewing gum - neither of them are vegan, so perhaps they're not used to vegan food lol.

This trip we went to Köpenick and Neu Venedig which was a lovely neighborhood. We stopped in at this café and had coffee and pastries. Typical to German cafés, the pastries were fantastic!

We ordered our mains ahead of time- I got a pork schnitzel with fries and it was pretty good, about what I would expect. I got an apple strudel for dessert and I was pretty underwhelmed. If you like a sweeter dessert, I'd recommend the diced pancakes. I wouldn't mind going back and it's in a nice spot in Köpenick.

Durch die Errichtung des Restaurants sind die Gebäude Alt-Köpenick 20 und 22 (früher Schloßstraße 18 und 20) im Bereich an der Dahme, zu Bar- und Gastraum, Lounge sowie der Terrasse zusammengewachsen. Seit 2013 gibt es außerdem noch weitere Plätze auf unserer Tenne im Luisenhain (daher auch der Name "Luise"), direkt am Zusammenfluss von Dahme und Spree.
