My tan always looks good the first few days, after about 4 days it starts to get splotchy from showering and just life in general. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, they took the time to go through the difference between the Versa Spa in Vernon and Storrs (the other location I've been to) and the different package options available. There's always a different person at the front desk but I would say they're all equally knowledgeable and helpful. I brought my friend in for her first spray tanning experience and they were very patient in helping her pick out the best color and options. The facility is very clean and well maintained, the spray tanning room is a little darker and louder than I'd like (you can hear the vocal commands from outside the room), but overall it's a good experience and I would recommend them to anyone looking to spray tan!

I was unable to tan because I was not 18 yet, which is completely understandable, however they were very very very rude about it. Then I decided I would never go back there. Until my friend and I saw they had free tanning, so obviously couldn't pass that up. Of course I happened to leave my ID at home so I couldn't prove I was 18, I completely would have understood but the girl working was absolutely NASTY. Such a rude person and I'm really disappointed that people like this can just get away with treating customers that way. I'm completely embarrassed for this company to keep this employee. Especially after reading other reviews I have no doubt they are mentioning the same person. Sad how rude people are.

Alright, there's a story behind this 5 star rating...and you get to hear it! :)…read more I had been happily going to my "regular" stylist, Lisa, for my usual "cut and color" - and suddenly, she quit...I got a call from the salon stating that she had left, and they didn't know where she had gone - would I like to try someone else - NO!. I tried to find Lisa, but was unsuccessful. SO, I needed to find someone else to "do" my hair. I did, and the result was the HAIRSTYLE FROM HELL!!!!! Ugh, my hair was a disaster - the color was all wrong and the cut was even worse! So, I lived with it for a few days and simply couldn't take it any more (neither could my husband!). So, last night, in desperation, I tried to find someone who could "fix" the problem. I found Renee at Sundance! She is an angel! First of all, Sundance has an online appt. booking system, so, no matter what time of day or night, you can make an appt. - It is soooo easy! Secondly, the place is simply terrific...a nice atmosphere - not caddy or noisy...just a relaxing place to spend some time. Chatter is relaxed and comfortable. Renee actually LISTENED to what I wanted done and she came up with some great suggestions which, in essence, saved my hair (and probably my marriage!) I left there feeling validated, pampered and pretty....what more can you ask for! FYI - they have a massage therapist, manicurist, etc. all on staff - this is a WONDERFUL, holistic salon!
