I was nervous about waxing but Azitas was super understanding, kind, and patient throughout the experience! Her office is located inside the "C&C Skincare" building, so you might miss her at first glance. She's also very responsive via call and text, making it super easy to schedule appointments. Big plus: Azitas accepts payment and tips through Venmo and Paypal too. Super convenient! I bought a brazilian through Groupon and the entire process took only 10 minutes. There are some businesses that give you the cold shoulder, give you worse service, or try to upsell you when you bring a Groupon but Azitas was great. I took one star off, however, because the skin is a bit raw after the process and there's still a bit of stubble. However, that might also be my fault for having shaved about a month ago I will definitely be returning! read more

My first time in this place and my third time doing brazilian wax. This place is small and very relaxing. Azita is so nice, she really likes to get to know her patients. She explained to me the difference with sugar wax and the one that she use , which i forgot the name. Anyways, i like how she did my brazilian wax, it was very clean, quick and less pain compare to the places that i've been to before. Thank you Azita! read more

If you are even considering the Brazilian Blow out, you must try Manijeh Hair Studio in Studio City. I've been coming here for years for waxing with Azita. Azita is amazing and very fairly priced. I guess I never thought about getting my hair done until Manijeh suggested I try the Brazilian Blow out because I have very frizzy and curly hair. My first reaction was "no way, I don't want chemicals burning my scalp" plus I also believed the treatment just would not work. OHH-- LET ME TELL YOU HOW WRONG I WAS!! I LOVE and ADORE my BLOWOUT AND CONSIDER IT THE BEST $$ SPENT. First off, Manijeh is excellent! She has many years of experience working with hair and really knows what she is doing. She did a terrific job on me. This process takes a while (about three hours) and she took her time and did a superb job. I also had her cut my ends and couldn't be more pleased. The cost was also far less than what I had heard and in my opinion very reasonable. I ended up purchasing the shampoo, conditioner and leave in serum and am happy I did. You should too, as I think it makes your blowout look better. My friend did the process in the south bay area and bought another sulfate free shampoo and her results are not nearly as nice as my results. The products are a bit pricey, but clearly it's worth it and they do last a fair amount of time. I did this process in June 2010 and my hair is still straight. Everyone comments on how healthy my hair looks. Note: I was never the girl who got complimented for hair until now. The results are still perfect. I know I need to go in for a touch up in October or November, but when I look at before and after pictures I almost can't believe my eyes. Now, when it's humid, I'm not the one with the frizzy horrible hair. If you have ever suffered with hot flat irons, hours of blow drying, burns, expensive and useless serums and gels, then this is your best solution. I highly recommend this salon as you will get the best service. read more

Every visit with Azita has been so wonderful. Her welcoming personality and attention to detail is so refreshing. Her work space is impeccably clean and she always has something fun to talk about. I go in for both facials and waxing. After a facial my skin always feels amazing and clean. She makes waxing as painless as waxing can be and is very quick. I would strongly suggest visiting her for your next appointment! read more

I found Azita around 2 years ago because of Groupon. It was my first time getting waxed after just having moved to LA, and I was expecting to have to go to a few diff places and shop around to find my "regular" spot. But once I left, I didn't even bother looking up other places! I've been super happy with Azita's services. She's experienced, extremely nice, reasonably priced...basically everything I was looking for. The fact that the ambience and aesthetics of the place are great too is an amazing bonus too. Wouldn't hesistate to recommend her to anyone! read more

Azita did a wonderful job with my wax!! It was definitely less painful than any other place I've been. I loved the wax, strips and table cloth that she used. They were all very high quality! I found her on groupon and I will definitely be a repeat customer! read more

I bought a groupon for this place for a brazilian wax, called the same day, and the owner was nice enough to agree to see me the same day. However, when I got there, and I guess she saw my skin color, she did not want to provide me the services she promised. She told me she did not want to wax me and I should come back in 3days. And even after I had an appointment and there were no other customers in front of me, she told me she had other customers coming and could not see me. They are plain RACIST and their customer services sucks, they literally kicked me out of the salon--she said "no" "no" "no" I can't do your brazilian, even if there were ZERO customers on a saturday. I called group on, reported this company. Groupon refunded my money ASAP. If you are a person of color, I would suggest you avoid this place. read more

I have been going to azita for my waxing needs for more than 16 years!! She is always nice, efficient and on top of doing a great job, she is fast! I am in and out of there in 30 minutes!! She also does a great job with anti-aging facials!! Definitly recommend her!! She is awsome!! read more

Been going to Azita since she was at her old spot in studio city! Only person I trust with waxing and facials! Affordable and very professional. She cares about her clients and is passionate about her job! I pretty much get my whole body and face waxed lol... NEVER had an issue with waxing (painless and stress free) and after my facials, my face is always glowing! Also never had an issue with scheduling... she always does whatever she can do to fit me in. She's the best! I seriously can't go to anyone else... just so you know the spot is called CC skincare in Toluca Lake so if you have issues with finding it. Easy parking which is a plus! read more

Came here after buying a Groupon for a Brazilian wax. The waxist was very nice and kind enough to schedule me for a wax the same day. She was really sweet and lightly talkative and did a good job in record time. If you're in the need of a really affordable Brazilian wax, I'd recommend coming here. read more

Azita is such a sweet lady :) I found her through Groupon and I am so happy to have found her! I like the fact that I can text her, using her business number for appointment and she gets back to me right away. She was very quick, painless and did a great job with waxing. Finding the place was a little confusing because it says CC Skincare at the front but she came right at the door to let me in. I look forward to coming back! read more

I went on groupon to get a brazilian wax and Azita is amazing! She was very friendly and welcoming and made me feel very comfortable. Brazilian waxing is a very intimate thing so comfort is key. She was very gentle and I have sensitive skin and a very low pain tolerance and she tried to make it as less painful as possible. She talked to me the whole time. She also got every single hair so I was pretty happy with the results afterwards. I suggest going to her if you want to get a groupon for Brazilian waxing. :) read more

I have been coming to Azita to get waxed for YEARS! She is absolutely amazing and she gets the job done quick and painlessly! I pretty much wax my whole body and wouldn't trust anyone else to wax me but Azita. She's the best! I also just recently started visiting her for facials. I just did a peel for my skin and I am literally glowing. My skin has never looked so great! Thank you Azita :) read more

I have known Azita for many years and even though I was sad for her when Manijeh Hair Studio closed, I was happy that Azita decided to come and join me at CC Skincare. She has been my trusted waxer for the last 20 years and now I have the pleasure to work with her. read more

i bought a groupon for a brazilian wax here and i was very pleased. i made an appointment about a week in advance (but i probably could have just walked in). the lady at the front desk was very nice and took me back right away. she was super quick and informative with the procedure. i was in and out in probably under twenty minutes. she informed me of how cheap the procedure would be without the groupon for next time i was pleasantly surprised. will def be back. read more

I LOVE Azita and have no need or desire to go anywhere else for my waxing needs. I can do practically my whole body and never have any issues. She is fast and efficient. Her brow work is artistic, beautiful and perfect! I found her through Groupon and she got me in the very same day and time that I called her. I can now schedule via text and she responds almost instantly and is always accommodating plus her prices are very satisfying - very good value for the service you get. read more

I ONLY trust Azita to give me a Brazilian wax. I've been going to Manijeh to get waxed for five years now and I'm literally never disappointed. I've been to a few other places here and there (only if I'm not in town) and something always goes wrong (either it's too expensive, I'm just not comfortable with the woman, or they don't remove enough hair). I like to leave a landing strip but I want every other stray hair to be removed and Azita definitely takes care of this. If the wax doesn't get the stubborn ones, she'll bust out her tweezers. I went based on the recommendation of a bartender who I used to work with and I'm so glad I listened to her because I don't know what I'd do if I'd never found Azita! It's also the best deal in town for what she does. Other places charge double what she does. Don't be fooled by the modest salon or the weird location (it's in a strip mall). It's a little gem of a place. I don't write reviews very often but Azita deserves it - she's absolutely the best! read more

Diamond is the best hairstylist in the San Fernando valley. I've been going to her for over 8 years. When i first introduce to her I had exactly 3inches of hair, from chemicals. Now my hair is in the middle of my back...I love this girl. Diamond your the best. read more

They are completely racist. I called yesterday to make an appointment, but Philip didn't pick up and his voice mail was full. He called me back three times continue and I pick up the third call. I told him that I need an appointment and he said he'll call me in couple of hours, but he never did. I called him today and again it went to his voice mail and it was full, so I couldn't leave the message. I found it his Facebook page and contacted, but still no response. I read a review on Yelp that they don't give services to color people. I think they don't give services to people who have accent either. They only want white people with American accent. read more

This is NOT the place to go for waxing!!! Azita (the owner!!) did a terrible wax job and simply broke the hairs instead of getting them by the root--as all professional salons do!!! I'm new to the area and tried this place because I live nearby. But, now I know why it hasn't had reviews for YEARS! When I approached her regarding the issue, she wasn't interested in trying to keep my business. I highly suggest you look elsewhere for your salon needs :-) read more
