I usually have…read moreall my stuff ready to go mid February so I called him and talked for a bit and felt comfortable with this guy doing my taxes. I was told 2 weeks ( Lmao.. watch the Money Pit w/ Tom Hanks). Well March came and went, April, May and now it's June 22, 2021. Nearly 3-1/2 months later, I have YET to get my taxes. Last week I went back to my accountant in California and he did them in 15 minutes, I paid him, and he electronically filed them, meanwhile I'm still waiting to hear from Joe about the returns he was supposed to do.... You live and you learn. Lesson here is when the deadline comes and if the work is not done, fire them... PERIOD. Joe recently posted that he was suffering from Covid. Sorry to hear, but it wasn't until April 21, 2021 that you text me that you were suffering from Covid. While I can totally understand how this can debilitate you physically and emotionally AND financially, at this point which is 2-1/2 months AFTER I had asked you to do my taxes, they should have been completed back in February. I contacted you February 9, 2021 and never, not once said you were suffering from Covid. At any point from February 9, 2021 to June, you had a responsibility to either complete my tax returns or let me know you could not physically do them. You rather chose to hide in this shroud of "Covid". You lack integrity, ethics and moral responsibility. instead of admitting your faults, you find excuses. I Truly hope your health returns, along with integrity, ethics and responsibility. As I text you in the past, if you responded I would post our entire conversation on here, and you responded. Nightmare - Stay Away…read more I worked with Kerry for years, the person who bought the business is horrible at customer service. STAY AWAY!!!! This is NO LONGER the same business. The difference is NIGHT and DAY. Even the person answering the phone is rude You DO NOT want to be dependent on these people for tax help, especially if you have a complicated return. They will NOT be there for you. It is a nightmare working with them. They Are NO help at ALL!!!! And they will make you beg to get service from them. Nightmare - Stay Away!!!

I had a horrible experience with them this tax year. My original tax preparer went on vacation in the middle of doing my taxes and didn't let me know. I had to call the office about 5 times to find out what was going on and who was taking over my taxes. All around terrible communication with the tax prepares, and everyone in this office. The attitude of the front desk lady was fun to deal with. And finally, I will say that the absolute VILE and condescending attitude from Rebecca herself prompted me to leave this review. If I treated or spoke to any of my clients the way Rebecca spoke to me - I wouldn't have a business.

We've been using H&R Block and this location for several years without too much issue until…read morerecently. This year however has been a bit of a train wreck. I uploaded all of our documents and routinely messaged our tax preparer to keep him up to date. Once he completed our return and we electronically signed, our state return was immediately rejected by Arizona due to an error. The error remained for several days while our preparer attempted to resolve the problem, but in the meantime I noted that our income was underreported after our preparer failed to include one of the W-2' that was previously uploaded. Fast forward several weeks, it's been a myriad of unresponsive messages via the HR Block customer portal that finally resulted in me calling the office and getting everything filed properly. End result - we paid $370.00 for our joint federal and state tax return and I invested more effort and frustration than if I would have simply done the taxes myself. H&R Block, if you're reading this, a refund of my fees would be appreciated.

We had another appointment across town later and unlike H&R we keep our appointments.We couldnt be late for so we couldnt wait around till the agent finished. We drove an hour to be at H&R on time and expected H&R to keep their appointment. Very unprofessional. We will not use this location again.

If you have questions you'd have to schedule a consult and you are responsible for keeping track so that you don't miss It. You cannot, I repeat, you cannot call in and ask a question, it does not matter how brief the question is. Started off as a really nice attitude service and turned into an accusation of one thing or another. I'm sure they will reply to this with points that are completely irrelevant to this message. If you have time to work around their schedule, then you can hire them. The last year was a total struggle between us because of the communication, HOWEVER, they waited until the end of the year to cut me off so they did not have to deal with taxes in the 2024. Anyways, they were reaching out to me and as I said getting back to them was a full blown operation and I would not be surprise if they blame all this on me.
