When we got there, the street was closed so we parked next street over. There was also a long line. The people just in front of us questioned if it was worth the wait. The people in front of them turned around and said they were here last year and it's definitely worth the wait. They said they even donated to help with this passion project. I started my timer to see how long it would take from the corner of the block to finish. When we were done, this adventure took 45mins and it was well worth it! I have attached some photos but no videos because I don't want to ruin the wonder of it all if it's your first time visiting this house like us. It is truly well done. It wa also heart warming how well behaved everyone was. It got a bit chaotic with people going in and go to take a look at the wonderful displays but no one actually cut in line. Everyone was in the holiday spirit and nice/respectful to each other. We really had a Christmas good time. I highly recommend making the time for this house and the wonders of this display!

They also offer different activities, which makes it even better. The only downside is parking. Parking is a hassle, and if you park near the restaurants (since there's no assigned parking for the event), there are workers who will pressure you to pay to park so they don't call a tow truck. It honestly feels like a hustle depending on who you are or how you look, they'll charge anywhere from $5 to $25.

Jerry is very nice, very capable, organized and motivated. I was amazed at how quickly Jerry and Trey were able to get my small projects completed. Jerry quoted me a price and delivered for that amount without any issues! Hubby and I enjoyed the evening and our holiday date night. We were granted complimentary VIP tickets which included 1 drink ticket and our own entrance to the event. No waiting for us! We did pay $15 for parking and the walk into the event was 10 minutes. We had eaten before arrival after reading reviews about the cost of food, drinks and snacks. So many food options were provided, just bring your wallet! And on that note, it's a cashless event so only Apple/Google pay, and cards will be accepted. If we had purchased VIP tickets, it would have been about $140 for two adults. We spent 90 minutes watching families enjoy and we walked around the event. This event is definitely geared towards small children. We watched the ice skaters for a while, enjoyed the lights in the maze and visited the many vendors. Lot of holiday trinkets and last-minute gift ideas. We popped into the VIP lounge for a hot chocolate and a pit stop before heading home. The lounge was very busy, long lines, and the tables weren't clean which was disappointing. But again, it was a nice option with our VIP tickets. I'm not convinced this event is worth the cost had we paid, but we enjoyed our evening and thank Yelp for the opportunity.

There is a toboggan run which is fine and a small snow patch, both of which are too crowded because they are the only things to do this year. They had cornhole with empty bags and one penguin inflatable carnival like attraction that was unstaffed and wasn't actually able to be played. The venue was outside the ballpark, it was just in a part of the parking lot. Truly bizarre. DO NOT waste your $30/adult on this!

Had a great experience with Todd going over my project concept…read more Todd came prepared for the project review, provided better ideas (design, products, etc.) and qualified them with his past experience, product enhancements (of his own design) and with his knowledge of products I already have been using and was very familiar with. North Star does big, serious and complex designs and installations for large homes and estates. My home and my project were both modest (by comparison) and he never treated me or my project any differently. I was given a clear estimate for the work, including a detailed break down of cost, products, sub contract specialists, and full technical details - all of which were easy to comprehend and imo fairly priced for the value. In fact, Todd spent extra time with me discussing my current installation and sharing his knowledge and experience with my products and my curiosity about them --it was like talking shop with an ol' friend. I ended up delaying my project (for reasons) but my experience with Todd convinced me that the only person in the whole valley I'd trust to do my outdoor lighting projects with are North Star and Todd.

An Outstanding Experience!…read more We recently contracted with Todd Meyer at North Star Outdoor Lighting to completely redo our landscape lighting in the front and rear of our home in Scottsdale. From start to finish, we could not have been happier with Todd and his team. When he first came to our home, Todd outlined a very detailed plan for lighting that would accent our home and plants. Importantly, he did not recommend an excessive amount of lighting but gave us a plan that would illuminate the driveway and walking paths and enhance our landscaping and home. He helped us select the appropriate fixtures for our architecture and landscaping and gave us a very reasonable proposal. On the day of installation, Todd and his team arrived promptly and got to work, removing our old landscape lighting, and installing the new transformers, power lines and fixtures. In a day and a half, the project was completed. Todd and his team thoroughly cleaned up everywhere they had worked and then walked us through all they had done. Interestingly, it was early afternoon when they finished so we could not see the "finished project" until the lights turned on that evening. When the sun set, and the lights came on, it was a magical transformation of our property. It was a pleasure working with Todd and his team and we were delighted with the results. If you are considering outdoor lighting, we highly recommend Todd Meyer and North Star Outdoor Lighting.
