They have like a billion pages on their menu...which is a good thing because when you don't know what you want...this is a perfect spot to come to. The servers are attentive, great location and the food is hot and fresh. I ordered the chicken with salad, chicken pasta and Beef sandwich. Don't judge me, I was hungry. If you're in the district 4 area, look this place up. Doesn't dissapoint.

Tables are closely spaced and service is as close to the American industrial model as I have seen. Not the most relaxed meal. There is outdoor seating but I was here on a rainy day so everyone was inside. The pasta is my dish was clumping and sticking together. Unfortunate since it was al dante.

If you wanna have lunch this place is a better alternative then the canteens of UBS. The outside seating is perfect and is charming between all the plants. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. The food is also very good. I had a pizza once (maybe a bit to salty, but I suppose that is typically italian) and once I had spaghetti carbonarra (really good). I think it is a bit pricy for a lunch place. I ended up paying 35 Sfr for a pasta and 2 cokes. And it was not a big portion (I could have get more). Overall a nice place to go once and a while if you work in the area.

I was bummed it was already closed and then there was a holiday but made an effort to come back. I'm glad I did because I think this was one of the best pizzas we had on our trip. I ordered the pepperoni which I wish I just got the margherita AND I forgot to ask for it extra toasted. I like it when the crust and bottom are more crisp. You can order ahead online or inside at the kiosk. They have free honey on the side and there's not really anywhere to eat it unless that place across from it is closed and you can use their tables/chairs hah. Overall, would highly recommend if in Zurich.

Our server made the experience even better. They were incredibly attentive and gave us not only great food and wine recommendations but also some fantastic tips for our trip. I went with a group of girlfriends, and it was perfect for catching up and enjoying a relaxed evening. That said, the romantic decor and dim lighting make it an ideal spot for a date night, too. It has such a cozy, intimate vibe. And there was a neighborhood cat that wandered around the restaurant, adding a quirky charm, but it kept to itself, so no need to worry if you're not a cat person. All in all, La Baracca is a gem--great food, great ambiance, and truly memorable service.
