There's also a small parking plaza across. Vibes - It's in a more comfortable side of Portland, if you're driving, not too far away from the International Rose Garden. There are local eateries and other stores in the area. The store itself is high-end and posh, flexing jewelry unapologetically and artistically to encourage buyers to purchase their jewelry. PRODUCTS Awesome! I was lucky to get the last Oregon sunstone. Walking around, the other jewelry looked pleasant. If I had enough money, I would have bought more. CUSTOMER SERVICE Emily was awesome! Friendly and profesional. I liked how she was able to talk more about the jewelry and the artist. TL;DR OVERALL 5 Stars | This was a wonderful experience. I am glad to have come across this place. Though there are local jewelry and crystal stores, I think this is your safe bet if you're looking for something specific. TIPS: * Traveling to Washington? They have a location there too.

Twist is a fabulous boutique filled with high end and eclectic jewelry, sculptures, glassware,…read morevases, scarves and some house gift items. This is not your ordinary store! Most everything is one of a kind from local artists and designers, as well as artists from all over the US. When I am seeking a special gift for myself to commemorate a special occasion or milestone, I head to directly to Twist, don't pass go. I have been shopping here for years, how is it I have I never written a review for Twist?!! There are not many, if any, stores like this in Portland; it is such a treat to shop here. While there are many expensive pieces of jewelry, there is also a large selection of affordable items so don't let price tags scare you off. Just keep perusing the dozens of jewelry cases filled with earrings, rings, bracelets, and necklaces. I walk around one direction, slowly, then turn and go the other direction to make sure I don't miss anything! There are so many treasures! Jewelry is arranged in cases by designer. Some that I particularly like are Cathy Waterman, Sophie Buhai, Spinelli Kilcollin, and Jill Platner. You can even view the jewelry online by designer, by type and even by price range. Those working here are exceptional. Very responsive and helpful without ever being pushy. They understand that jewelry is very personal and these are big decisions. They will let you try on whatever you like, and take as much time as you need, and will be friendly and gracious even if you end up not buying anything. In addition to the jewelry, I love the collection of unique glassware - cocktail glasses, brightly colored drinking glasses, vases in unique shapes and vibrant color combinations and candle holders. They would definitely be the centerpiece of a room. The store itself is large, bright, airy with plenty of room to walk around and take it all in. This is one classy store without the pretentiousness. The variety, selection, quality, and customer service is unparalleled in Portland. Always a great experience shopping here! Especially the first weekend of March when they have their annual sale!!

A Retail Experience Worth Writing Home About (Especially Thanks to Ali!)…read more Every time I visit Portland, I make it a point to wander through the charming streets of the Northwest District, and no trip feels complete without a stop at Betsy & Iya, the boutique gem tucked next to Lei Brilla Coffee and just around the corner from the apartment I rent during my stays. It's more than just a boutique; It truly is a haven of design, warmth, and thoughtful curation. What truly elevates the experience, however, is Ali, the Store Manager and absolute heart of the space. As someone with over 15 years in retail management myself, I hold high expectations when it comes to customer experience, ambiance, and the quality of service and Ali certainly exceeds every single one of them. From our in-store conversation to her warm, personal email follow-ups, she has gone above and beyond--not just in product knowledge and service, but in genuine human connection. Ali even took the time to send me a direct vendor link when the shop didn't carry my size. Who does that anymore? Essentially, Ali seals the deal: her authenticity, enthusiasm, and eye for styling reflect the values of a brand that truly gets it. She's one of those rare retail professionals you never forget: sharp, kind, and full of local insight. Her outreach made me feel more like a friend than a customer, and that's something algorithms and online carts simply can't replicate. Whether you're a Portland local or a visitor falling for the city like I did, don't miss out on Betsy & Iya. It's a boutique that perfectly captures the spirit of Portland: creative, inclusive, and deeply personal. If you're lucky enough to chat with Ali while you're there, I guarantee the experience will linger long after your purchase. I can't wait to visit again! See you soon Ali and Team! Five stars aren't enough. --Edwin M.

After walking by this shop for the past 16 months while on my walk, I finally stopped in! The jewelry showcased in the window always caught my attention, but with Covid, I never had a mask with me while walking freely outdoors so never ventured in. Yesterday, I decided to stop in and I'm so glad I did! Colocated in a shop with BlaqPaks, the space is beautifully laid out. Jewelry is displayed on natural wood and hanging from branches. I'm a huge fan of locally made and uniquely designed jewelry versus the mass produced or designer pieces that are soled in mass And with Sahlia Jewelry, you get individually created pieces. The earrings are long and dangly - my type - and give a nice movement when you move. Lots of long necklaces with stones and crystals that would be great layered with necklaces of other lengths, available here, or to mix in with pieces you already own. Will definitely be back whenever I need a gift or a pick me up for myself! Rounding out the jewelry collection is a table topped with lots of lush green plants. This adds to the aesthetics - and they are for sale! Many unique varieties in neutral containers that would fit into anyone's decor. Do stop in while taking a stroll along the SW side of the Willamette River. Located on Riverplace Esplanade with views of the Marina and next to Upstream Coffee, Little River Cafe, Yomi Sushi, McCormack &Schmitz, and Il Terrazzo, make an afternoon if it!
