We had a very disappointing experience with this cabinet maker and would not recommend them based…read moreon our experience. We invested significantly in custom cabinetry for our home and expected a consistent, high-quality finish. Unfortunately, the completed cabinets have noticeable and inconsistent discoloration throughout the home, resulting in cabinetry that does not have the uniform appearance we selected and expected. We raised our concerns and provided the cabinet maker an opportunity to address the discoloration, but the issue was not corrected. For a substantial custom cabinetry investment, we expected both better quality control and a willingness to stand behind the finished product. The inconsistent coloring has negatively affected the appearance of cabinetry throughout our home and, in our view, diminished the value of what we purchased. We are extremely disappointed that we were left with this result after investing in custom cabinetry.

They told me they wouldn't use up my nice driveway rock for their base and did anyway which cost me about $300 in material. That was a little annoying. Overall they did good work at a competitive fair price. They were not the cheapest but they seemed like someone I could trust and that is important with concrete. They did exactly what I asked and even corrected me down on my square footage estimate lowering the price. I would have gave 5 stars but he never came back to fix something. If he decides to in the future I'll update this to 5 stars and use them again when I expand my driveway next spring.

Drew Welch, owner of DHS is a fence contractor & carpenter. He recently completed a 70 foot fence…read morereplacement for me, complete with a beautiful new gate. Drew and his crew members are professional and do excellent work. My new 7 foot redwood fence has three stringers, not the usual 2. The cement for the posts is mixed in a cement mixer and poured, not dry cement into the hole and water added. He slopes the cement so that any water runs away from the posts so that they don't sit in rain water, etc. In addition, Drew uses all screws on the project, no nails. I also found it encouraging to see that he actually builds removable braces that keep the posts absolutely level during the entire project. Many neighbors lost their fences in the last HUGE wind storm Modesto had. I have to say that I would use DHS again and refer him to friends and neighbors. I have already had 2 neighbors ask for his card once they walked by and saw his completed work. I give Drew Welch of DHS my highest recommendation. License #1024760
