This may seem a simple request, it would take 20 mins at most in the UK but in Spain it has taken me well over a month of constant phones calls etc and this stressful journey is not yet over. I finally thought I had a breakthrough a few days ago when I was advised to leave X amount in account to cover fees and transfer the rest of my money to the UK then all I had to do was to email to say I wanted to cancel account~ End Of. No such luck the information given to me was incorrect, the bank account would be cancelled on the 26th of Dec 2018 (over 1 year and yes I checked this is correct) . I was advised to send some money to cover fees. 'How Much Money' ~ no reply, then an email advising me to send money and the left over balance will be given to charity. No sorry for the misinformation . Just give us more money. Infact this sums up this bank very well. No help unless you pay

We insured our apartment with the full protection plan and yet they don't want to compensate anything. Be sure to check other insurance companies before you even consider this one.
