Extremely frustraing and awful experience. My dog had her first day of daycare and struggles with…read moreanxiety. She was in the yard alone and began to scratch at the wooden fence. During this, noone came to step in or redirect as she was unsupervised. No handler was present while this occurred and she broke a single wooden fence panel; half of it actually. I was told later that the fence was already in poor shape. I was told services would be discontinued for both daycare and training unless I was present, which defeats the purpose of using daycare in the first place. While I completely understand being resposible for damages, you cannot expect someone to pay BLINDLY, without an itemized list or proof. The situation escalated when I went in to pick up my dog and ran into the contractor hired from TWO hours away to fix not one, BUT 10 panels, yet I was told I was only being charged for one (which was $250 btw) He was very unprofessional and stated I was basically being charged for the time the other dogs were unable to use that space during the repairs and stated that I din't give a sh*t about the other dogs. Very excessive and uncessary. On top of that, the owner did not come out of her office to discuss the issue. Prior to my arrival I asked for an itemized list of materials to justify the cost. That was not given. This place is very dismissive and lacks basic customer service. Little transparency around the cost and overall, handeled poorly by all. The experience came across as shifting all of the responsibility on the customer, rather than taking some part as my dog should feel safe in their care for the HOUR she was there. I hope you enjoy your 10 new fence panels, eventhough it CLEARLY shows 1 needed replacing for $250! The other boards, untouched by my 40lb dog I guess also needed replacing?! No. What a joke. I would never reccommend this place to anyone, because if they need something fixed, they'll use you to pay for it.
