Just learning to understand YOUR dog. I can't recommend this place enough! One of the perks is that, along with the lessons, there are puppy play times included in the fee. This is my first time owning a dog, and I know training is an integral part of being a dog owner…read more My boyfriend and I enrolled our puppy Chelsea in this 8 week training course for her to learn obedience, training and commands so she will listen to us and be a better dog in the future. This class was at the London Middlesex Civitan Club every Thursday night between 8pm to 9pm (we got the late night class because of my work schedule). We were referred bya neighbour of ours who took that class. The trainers we had were Deb and Melissa, and their experience and training were phenomenal. Each week we would walk in, and they would have play time for about 5 to 10 minutes, running around, playing and making friends with the other puppies there. We learned a lot of commands to make her stay, sit (which she thinks is laying down, but we'll take it!) up, down, and leave it, few of the many we learned. It takes a lot of patience and practice, and they both were very patient with all the puppies in that class as well as our Chelsea. She was one of the smaller puppies there and all she wanted to do was love everyone. In these 8 weeks, she has learned so much and is starting to become more well behaved. This was an amazing course, and the last week they had a puppy graduation with caps and everything! I highly recommend this class for everyone who has a new puppy and wants really great training. The trainers were amazing, personable and very knowledgeable when it comes to helping us adapt to our dog. If we ever have another dog (which in my boyfriend's case, we will) I will definitely train them here. Thank you for a wonderful course and lots of training tools to help train our Chelsea!
