Well, mostly my grandson because he gets to ride what I bought. It was a gift to him. But I was still a very happy customer! We just moved to Kentucky in February 2021. We live in Brownsville. The first week we were here, my grandson called all around to research who had what bikes. He said that he'd found what he wanted at Fun For All Motorsports in E-town. It was an hour away, but it was well worth the trip. My grandson went in first to verify the deal. I was a bit hobbled, so stayed in the car until he let me know all was well. He came out and notified me that he was going to the shop for them to show him some things about the bike, so I went in to pay. Lori, the owner, had already made my grandson feel right at home. She did the same with me. She and I chatted quite a while. My grandson came back into the showroom a bit later and was wearing a beautiful helmet that matched his bike. I asked him if he wanted that to be part of the purchase of his new bike? He replied, "No! Lori just gave it to me!" Call me skeptical. I asked her about it. I was sure it was just a current promotion: Buy a bike, get a helmet. But no, Lori said she really did just give it to him. She liked him and was excited for him, so it was a gift from her heart. Oh man - BIG goose bumps! That was an amazing thing for a business owner to do. You can be sure that if I ever need something else that she sells, I will be going back. What great customer service! The owner of the shop was so sweet and just wanted to talk. I really love when local stores are homey feeling so this was something I would definitely go back for. She makes jewelry by hand and each and every piece is unique so you will never see another like it out there. She uses stones native to KY, and other precious stones that she finds. The intricate detail on every piece is so beautiful I fell in love with so much there. While a lot of the pieces are out of my price range; for being hand made they are definitely worth it because everything is real. This is definitely not j st fashion jewelry these are story pieces. She was willing to show me a piece she was currently working on and we talked about how long it takes for her to make certain pieces. "Vintage" search populated just south of nothing, well - there was an address and a name but it looked weird, I believe there was a dash and a random letter sitting curiously upon the end, so I went to check it out. Yes, you guessed it - it was a booth in the mall. Bummer? Heck no! What an opportunity to walk and explore the mall world with a few exceptions to my early mall memory. For one thing, it was on one floor - Queens Center Mall, NYC 1986, the gold standard to me. There were no people either - not in the booths, not walking around - nobody as in nobody, minus the two girls at the very front of the store. Actually I became aware that malls can be all on one floor once I was out of the New York area. Visions of Day of The Dead began, the second George Romero zombie movie after Dawn of The Dead, back then zombies were smarter than they are now, just like some people I know now. Ya ever feel dumber walking away from a conversation with someone you knew years ago and hadn't seen in a while and - well, it's just hard for me to ingest that. Anyway, those zombies entered a mall, what a great horror movie - actually, all the movies in that series were excellent - any horror fans out there? So I bought a few shirts, nice quality cotton tees with a picture of an angry bear on one and a skull on the other and slashed the sleeves off the moment I got to the urban assault vehicle. I've been steadily working out, I'm driving a bit slow with NYC plates in foreign territory, I'm gonna show the cannons - which they're not, but have size when I squeeze the steering wheel in just such a way. There was a pair of boots that I really liked but I had questions about them and nobody was there and to ask about returning them or - ya kno- it just wasn't the right time, but I loved the place.
