I lived here for almost five years. They were all very kind to me and my children! The maintenance was top notch! I definitely miss them

Lived in the 1000 building for roughly 1.5 years and defiantly had a good experience…read more Compared to other apartment complexes in Cartersville, the rent was slightly steep but it compensated for it with the quietness, cleanliness, amenities, privacy, and good neighbors. Some reviews may mention some bug problems, I have had a few in my sink towards the end of my stay but that was resolved within a few days without me having to speak out. In March of 2019 they have changed the pest control to come out monthly instead of quarterly so this may help with the issues. Staff was great, went out of their way to help me out with setting up my autopay on my rent even though it was not their responsibility. I have nothing to complain about my stay here, all I really needed was a place to sleep and the fitness center was a nice bonus. Would recommend to a friend if they were looking for a place in town.

When they told me my lease was ending soon I really thought about staying another year but the bugs got to be too much. I got a house and moved out. Sadly, the bugs came with me. I find them in places where I have unpacked things. Of course I called to let them know I had bugs and not once did they come up. But when my refrigerator was leaking, they were there within the hour. RAID has no effect on these bugs. I loved my time in Stone Mill, things were quiet, never any complaints or problems besides their big issue. I would recommend considering stone mill over other apartment places like the Vineyards and Somerset in Cartersville but be prepared for the bugs in the summer.

I tried to wait to leave a review. However I'm getting the run around. I was supposed to move into…read morea 2bedroom on 9/19. Apt 2112. After signing a whole lot of paper work. Paying the deposit and proraited rent. Got my keys and started inspecting the apartment. What was visible. Paint chips scrapes and scratches on the floors. Pulled out the washer and dryer Dirty. 3 burners on the stove worked. Pulled the stoce out and the fridge disgusting. The air filter dirty. The tub in the master dirty. The worse part the apartment had a flea infestation. I sent a picture of the fleas to Carleigh Gore..resident relations manager. She suggested a 2nd foor or one bedroom. Stated they spray every Wednesday. Well it was friday apparently this apartment wasn't sprayed or cleaned. She sent a voicemail to my work phone later that evening. Suggesting i put my belongings in one of their garages until they can get the apartment treated. Why would you call my work phone and leave a voice mail? 2nd why would i put my things in your garage? 3rd why would i risk my yorkie and my belongings coming in contact with fleas? My anxiety was thru the roof. Saturday i returned. Told them i won't be moving in. Requested a refund. Was told by some lady who kept saying she was new and did not know the process. I tried to call no answer. So Monday 9/22. I went to the office. Same lady again said she had to reach out to someone she was new and didn't know the process and didn't want to give me a date as to when i would get my refund. Could be 30 days she wasn't sure. But i didn't need to do anything. You have my money, you did not provide a clean bug free apartment. You have your keys, give me my money. The our pledge to you if not satisfied in the first 30 days if my expectations aren't meet they will release you from your lease. I didn't live there one day. I had to cancel furniture i purchased. Moving company. Electric. Change of address. My advice. Do a extensive inspection. Wear white socks when walking floors that way you will see the fleas. I wish i could post pictures

They have a gorgeous pool with a car wash station to the dog park to the dog tub. They have the washer and dryer in the apartments and a 24hr gym. No bugs and a nice grill by the pool.

I've been living here since June of 2019. Here are the pros and cons…read more.. Pros - Their curb appeal is SPECTACULAR. Everyone who comes to visit are low-key intimidated that I live in such a beautiful gated community lol ... I will have to give credit to their maintenance staff who work so damn hard. I mean ... EVERY DAY... Every service request I put in for help with something... they really try so hard. I give them BIG KUDOS. The leasing office staff are really nice. I had to ask a couple of times to get help with a few things. But overall they are super nice. Surrounding locations fine, access to decent retail selections and close to the freeway. Cool. Cons - DO NOT SIGN A LEASE UNTIL YOU SEE THE ACTUAL APARTMENT YOU WANT. Do NOT just look at the model. That model ... maaaaaan... That model tour had me in deep fear of losing the chance to live here. I was sold out for IT like I am sold out for Jesus! However... When I got my ACTUAL unit... I was psst... The walk way to the apartment ... ok... honestly, people are trash... but... ALSO I need a bigger budget going to the maintenance crew to power wash the walk ways MONTHLY... hell... weekly... The bugs... the thorn in my side. The beasts of my burdens... Look... trust me on this. And before I go on - I will insert that I am frightened of bugs - I learned SWIFTLY that Georgia is on some bullshit when it comes to their bugs (I'm from California). HOWEVER.... HOW-AND-SO-EVER ... These bugs find some way to get into my apartment. And PERSONALLY... I think MAA needs to come and seal up every crack in every damn part of these buildings cause there is NO WAY they ... look... I went back to California on business for 2 months. I came back and found 6 of them palmetto son-of-a-snitches dead of heat stroke all over my apartment. How? HOW? Every window and door closed air TIGHT... and yet... AND YET... they got in and died on my good good carpet? *woo saaaaa* Who ever MAA hire to paint and clean their apartments: FIRE THEM. Fire them RIGHT NOW. Poor paint job and they did NOT clean my apartment. The maintenance crew ended up having to do 90% of the work I put on my 4 page walk through inspection papers. Ok... that's all I got. Hope this help others looking for a place to live.

I have been living at Woodlawn Senior Village in Dublin GA app 10 years. After transfering from a…read more1BR to 2BR. RADON was detected and the cement floor was drilled and a pipe was installed through the roof. Sometimes the sensor sounds for hours. Black exhaust is on the roof. The unit 6A is built o a hill with a walkway that drops off several inches and since I have a walker and wheelchair. It is unsafe for me. I requested to move next door to Unit 5F that has a level yard and walkway. This Unit has been vacant for app 3 months and I have been asking for it for that long NO RESPONSE. My doctor Mark samson has notified management that since I have a brain tumor and am subject to falling that I need a safer invironment. Manager finally relented and gave me prrmission to move. I am given just a few days to move and trying to find a mover after them canceling twice, they are finally coming on Monday, I was advised that I will be served a displacement warrent by the Police and will be fined. Management is saying that she offered me the unit twice and that I refused to sign the forms, This is NOT TRUE. I am an 85 yearold woman with no family nearby and I am doing the best that I can to coorporate, I have fallen on the rough terrain and have 2 fractured vertabrae, hip, rib and thumb. Since the dropoff is quite severe I am afraid to maneuver my wheelchair on it. Management here and management over her have very negative attitudes.
