We had the confirmation print out on hand along with two valid forms of ID and a flight itinerary - as noted in the reservation confirmation document since we were using a company debit card for the rental (which was used to hold the reservation). They refused us a car and said that they don't have to follow the corporate policies since they are a franchise location. The attendant at the desk was also very rude. We've flown into Grand Forks many times and have NEVER had this bad of an experience with a rental car company. Our CEO ended up using a personal card so that he was not late to a meeting. We will never use Hertz again as we cannot afford for our CEO to be late to important meetings due to this kind of unprofessional and horrible customer service.

I rented a truck from enterprise in Fargo. A 2023 Chevy Silverado, which decided that it wouldn't…read morerestart while at a traffic light and was pushed to the nearest parking lot. I called roadside assistance who stated that there would be a tow truck within 45 minutes And they would send an Uber link to take me to the airport to pick up another vehicle. I asked if I could go to the airport and pick up the vehicle while waiting for the tow truck and was told that they would not issue me. The replacement vehicle until after the tow truck had received the disabled vehicle. After waiting just over an hour I called back to find that the tow truck had never been dispatched, and there was no record. At that time they got a tow truck dispatch which required another 45 minute wait. They also confirmed that there was a vehicle waiting for me at the Grand Forks airport. Tow truck finally showed up and about 10 minutes after he left, Uber showed up and got me a ride to the airport. There's a sign on the desk stating that they'll be in at 10:30 PM and it is now 1045 and I'm told by airport personnel that they may not show up till 1130 to work a 12 AM incoming flight. It used to be that enterprise was my go to rental company because of the way they took care of customers, but it looks like things have gone severely downhill. Do yourself a favor and rent elsewhere if you're looking for good customer service .
