Trent acknowledged my presence and apologized for the inconvenience and wait. Took care of the customers ahead of me, and all were nice and understanding of the wait time. When I was next, Trent informed me that he only had two options here that were covered by 'MY' insurance ($50/day),one being an Altima and the other being a minivan, both skeptical with he offered a 3rd option a Tuscan that would be transferred from Rancho Cordova with an obvious additional wait time (takes a while to get from one end of Sunrise Blvd to the other). I happily took that option as I was clearly not going anywhere and making a huff would not expidite anything. While waiting the hour for the vehicle, Trent apologized for the wait multiple times. After my selection of vehicle and waiting a couple of people dropped off their rentals one of which had a poor attitude and stated no, would not rate him well over "talking too much". Then here comes "Karen", (real name if the person that reviewed 3 days ago). As soon as she walked into the door, super entitled, Trent did greet her and advise that he had customers ahead of her. When it came to her turn, she stated that "she was in an accident, had to wait 3 hours for a tow truck, was hungry and just wanted to go home.". To which Trent asked if she wanted to pay out of pocket at all since it would be an hour wait to get the vehicle cleaned that her insurance would cover. She began berating Trent in a hostile entitled manner, was amazing to see Trent stay calm and collected the entire time. I of course I defended him and said a bunch, nothing hostile, vulgar or threatening in any way. But also will not stand idly by while someone is getting verbally assaulted. (I get it, having an accident, having to take time out of your day to have you car taken care of by a shop, conversing with your insurance and getting a rental is taxing on anyone, But do not threaten others livelihood over you failing to adult properly and ethically) Yes this review went in a different direction but it is important to me that Trent gets proper reviews rather than ones that do not show him properly. If I could give this location and Trent 10 stars out of 5, I would.

This is a review to warn others NOT to use Budget for any of the "services" they provide. March 9th, I pick up my cargo van I am renting on the 9th-13th, to move from Sacramento to Portland. We do the 'walk around', the man specifically asks if there's any 'body' damage, pointing to bumpers and the paint job (tires were not addressed). As I'm driving off the wheel is julting as if it needs an alignment *badly* I immediately call the location I just rented from to let them know. I am told that they will note that for service before it is rented again, and that they assure me it is safe to drive. For time's sake, I say fine. March 10th: about 10:40pm, I had passed Eugene, OR about 20 miles back when the front passenger tire SHREDS, suddenly the metal rim is in contact with the concrete highway. Luckily I reacted calmly and did not crash. I contact the phone # on the truck contract; what is supposed to be roadside assistance, it took an hour and 4 people later to get me to the right department, on the 4th person the call disconnected during our convo - NO CALL BACK, even though i was asked for my # for that very reason. I waited; NOTHING. So finally my mother and I call AAA, our car insurance who comes and gets us finally, no issues. We are towed all the way into Portland around the corner from my new home. The very next day MArch 11th @ 11 AM or so, I get in contact with the location in which I was supposed to return the truck, I explain the situation - he says he will get a tow truck out there *that day* to retrieve the cargo van. He says the tow truck driver may call if he cannot find the truck. No call, no nothing. For the next 3 days I call multiple times a day, every time I get a recorded response after several rings "no local representative is available, you are now being transferred to the national corp/customer service department" (something along those lines) I go through the prompts each time to talk to a LIVE person, and each time the call disconnects before talking to a real live person (f*ck all this automated BS). My mother turns to twitter to tweet them, I email them. NOTHING**** Fast Forward to today, I get a call from Budget - no not to apologize for all that's happened/discuss - but to ask WHERE THEIR VAN IS - WHHHHHHAAAAT. I spoke with a man who recorded the exact location and said they would send someone THAT day, called, emailed and tweet at Budget for DAYS. This woman was the most apathetic unpleasant person, there was no concern at all. No apology, no concern, other than the whereabouts of the van and oh, letting me know I was going to be charged for all the extra days passed the 13th and the impound charges. AND that the cost would keep going up daily until they could locate the van which was clearly towed by the city of Portland (rightfully so, after sitting there for 20 days). Long story short, Budget seems like a cost effective way to move. WRONG The truck itself is inexpensive in comparison, but they will charge you up the ass for THEIR incompetence, and take no respinsiblity when their faulty vehicle injures you and your puppy, and then leaves you and your mother stranded in the middle of the night on the freeway in literal freezing temps. PLEASE SHARE to warn others.

No worries, when we come back in a few months for a second car, we're coming to hertz. We came for this car because we wanted a Hyundai that we found online at echo park. When we went to echo park we did an entire three hour process just for them to tell us it was sold on its way to us? Made no sense. Then they sold us a similar car but different model that was older and had more miles for the same price. I felt uneasy so I looked up the vin and found it at Hertz and called the next day. Like I said the experience was much better at hertz. I would've returned the car we purchased at echo park and purchased from hertz directly instead if they had a similar model. We will be back. Just go here. Save yourself the hassle and time. These are the lowest prices in Sacramento.

I didn't want an "or similar", so I came into this location, which is right around the corner from where I live. They've treated me very well in the past. I met Rehan, and explained the situation. He said he wasn't sure if he was going to be able to get me a Tesla, because it was a long weekend. (MLK day...) However, he did say, he would make some phone calls, and see what he could do for me. I called him back in a few hours. Not only was he able to get me a Tesla model 3, he made arrangements that I could pick it up here instead of going out to the airport, and for the exact same price that I was quoted online. I came out on Saturday to pick up the vehicle, I did the paperwork, he wasn't there that day, but the people who were there were very friendly, very helpful, they explained the vehicle to me, and I'm off on a fantastic trip. I love this car! As I mentioned before, I've always been treated great at this location, but this time Rehan and his crew went way above and beyond. Her and Raymond were the only ones still working. I think it was close to closing time when I sat down with Claire. She got me some water. She was patient. Didn't rush me. She started with asking what kind of vehicle I was looking for. Then asked me what kind of features I would like. What I felt like I could afford and somewhere in there, I told her what my down payment was going to be. She pulled 3 keys for me and we walked outside. After checking them all out, I only test drive one of them and loved it instantly. Although it was after closing by this time, she didn't mind that I video chatted with my mom after we parked. As we walked back in, I was getting more and more excited because I had made my decision. I said YES to the car!!!! We had some paperwork to do. Most of it was done on the computer, easy to sign. Raymond was there, too, helping figure out the details. Between the down payment and the bank, I was able to get the monthly payment I wanted. A car I loved with some of the BEST customer service I could've asked for! Since I bought my car (YAY), the EXCEPTIONAL customer service has continued. Raymond got me set up with the mechanic shop for the couple little things I needed and wanted checked out. Myurik was helpful with other paperwork I needed to go over. My gorgeous beautiful new car was made possible by an amazing team. I highly recommend coming here for your car purchase. They are throughly inspected before going onto the lot and not pushy at all.

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES GET THE 2024 CHEVY MALIBU. IT HAS A STRONG SMELL OF CIGARETTES and honestly I feel upset because the AC was on full blast when I was brought to it to not show the smell. In hindsight I should have asked for a new rental before driving off the lot and returning, I take responsibility for that but why is a rental with heavy cigarette scents in the car and air vents with no smoking stickers in it on the lot rental stock list? Remove it from the lot and return it back when that smell is completely gone. If there is no available cars for the rental booked, let the customer know so they can come back at a later time. I'm very happy with the service when we came back in to replace the car, but don't do that "I'll turn the AC on to make sure the customer doesn't smell how heavy the cigarette smell is in the car" move. I tried to be polite and that was taken for granted, so good learning experience, but bad personal trust experience.

She was super sweet and explained that the body shop would notify them once I was ready so they could send someone to pick me up. I remember thinking, I love her accent, I believe she was from England. She really made a great first impression. A little while later, a nice gentleman picked me up from the body shop. He was friendly, talkative, and overall made the ride enjoyable. But once I got to the rental office, the experience started to go downhill. I checked in with a gentleman that was very friendly, he told me it would be a nonsmoking vehicle and I'd be able to choose my car once they called me, I waited around 25 to 30 minutes before anyone helped me. Turns out I couldn't pick my car because there were hardly any left, so they had already assigned me a car. They gave me a Buick SUV. I'd been hoping for a sedan, but I was even more disappointed by the condition of the vehicle. I had specifically asked if it was a non-smoking car, and they said, "We believe so," then asked the guy bringing me to it if it smelled like smoke. He said no. But once I got in, the car smelled very stale. Not like full-blown smoke, but definitely musty. When I turned on the air circulation from inside the car, it got worse and started to smell smoky, so I had to keep the air on fresh from outside to avoid it. And the cleanliness? Honestly, it was bad. There was either a man's or per hair on the dashboard and hazard button, very dusty, some kind of sticky residue in the cupholders, and smudges all over the seats. It just didn't feel clean at all. On top of that, the brakes squeaked every time I used them, and the brake pedal was way too sensitive, which made driving kind of uncomfortable. I gave two stars because the initial phone call and pickup were both pleasant, and the staff I interacted with were polite. But the main issues were: * I wasn't allowed to choose my car like I was told I could * The vehicle smelled stale and somewhat smoky when I used the internal circulation * It was very dirty inside * And the brakes squeaked noticeably If this is the only Enterprise near your body shop, it'll get the job done, but I expected much better.
