There were a ton of pre-selected options on the board in Swedish, which I tried to figure out for the fun of it, but eventually gave up and just told the man at the counter I like vegetables on the pizza if he can help recommend something. He came up with great options, confirming as he went (spinach, artichoke hearts, peppers, onions, extra cheese). I walked out with an amazing pizza in 10 min! I had a 10 min walk home in the cold, but still the pizza was warm and super tasty. I was really hungry, but still could only finish half, it was so filling. My roommates had already eaten, but discovered how good it was and ate up the rest -- they'll also be going there again. The restaurant atmosphere is stark and merely functional, not inviting, so I give the place only 4 stars.

We are not yet invaded by the big Pan chains although there are 2 or 3 Pizza Huts around in the big 3: Stockholm, Gotenborg or Malmö. However in the small town of Lund you can get pretty close to a good Pan by ordering from Portofino. What is good here, the price, the toppings and the quality of ingredients. Their Pans are deliciously thick and pretty authentic to the real deal. It's also a plus in my book being able to order different sizes, although I only order the largest Pan. There is something special about a cold pizza in the morning as breakfast don't you agree!? They do however make even good thin Italian style pizzas as well but that is not why I come/order from here. Some of the houses Pans, the combinations, are not my cup of tea but the New Mexico is delish. However you can choose to make your own pizzas by adding any 3,4 or 5 toppings you in the mood for and that is awesome! The delivery option is a great one and these guys are pretty fast. Even though 1 hour is what they ask for I have never waited for more than 40 minutes for my pizza to arrive.

That said, the Pizza is brick oven and has a very light crust and they have a plethora of combinations. I like the concept of making the pasta and salad dishes to order, quickly & in an open kitchen way. I've had the Salami e ricotta con rucolla and Carbonara Salmone and both were very good. For pizza, I've tried the Salame & Chèvre Con Fichi which is very light and tasty given the mix of Chèvre, Fig & Honey. Overall, they have a strong service mind-set and the food has been consistently good.

The pizza salad at Mårtens Pizzeria was really good - one of the best I've had. Just the right acidity and it seemed to be recently prepared. I saw them slicing the salami, prosciutto pizza toppings. You don't see this often. Returned & tried the Salsiccia. Pepperoni, cherry tomato, onions. Feta, olives & rucola combined nicely! Upon arrival in January, we were seated in the enclosed outdoor area, where it was cold. When we pointed this out, there were available tables indoors, but we were told these were reserved for guests who had specifically requested indoor seating in advance. We were never informed that such a request was required. This ruined the entire experience. Due to the unpleasant handling of the situation by the owner, it was not possible to enjoy the meal. When we later shared feedback, it was met with an unwillingness to accept criticism, both on site and afterward. Overall, the visit was very negative, and we will not return
