Not sure, but I've always found the security to be top-notch. In fact, it was one of the things that attracted us to this Center in the first place. Signing in, and signing out is very thorough. Communications to the parents always thorough. And technology changes, to improve security even more, are in the implementation stage as I write this...think, finger print scans. Yeah, finger prints/ Sounds like a decent attempt at security, no? Perhaps the daycare center that Mark B.'s kids goes to, has even better security than digital finger printing, who knows? Perhaps they do eye/retinal scanning. Or a DNA blood test at the door? Or perhaps, he's mad at the center for some other reason. With the intelligently written first couple sentences of his review, using choice adjectives like "sucks" and "blows", something tells me that he's peeved about something else. Lastly, he complains about a lack of interactivity with the kids. Again, our experience has been the complete opposite, and not sure what he's referring to at all. We've found the teachers at BHCDC to be very interactive, and love the fact that they don't just turn a Big Screen TV on for electronic baby sitter purposes.

They are very attentive, communication based, genuinely work so hard on their day-to-day learning goals/curriculum, and focus on the individual child. I am very picky with where my girls go, and do work in the ECE field so with that I am also very attentive to the environment my girls are in. I appreciate that they listen to me, respond to me when I message in their preschool app, and I feel as relaxed as possible when dropping my girls off for their day. My son has autism and had a teacher specifically for him while he was in their care, he quit and I didn't find out for two weeks after my own research that my son wasn't receiving his care anymore. My son fell on their equipment and had to have his two front teeth surgically removed because of this. And they do not have interior cameras, so beware of that. In my research of this facility before I even applied for my babies to go there, I saw that they specialized in care for autism and behavioral as well as many other needs that a toddler might need. They don't do any of that.

In a perfect world this facility would would get a complete renovation, get rid of the odd hallways, unused racquetball court and maybe the fireplace in the men's locker room,. But right now it's a good clean gym with a nice staff. That works for me.

On a routine basis, there is a lot of yelling such as "Stop that!", "Don't do that!", and "NO!" in very harsh tones. As a parent of a one-year-old, I personally would not feel comfortable with my child being spoken to that way. I understand childcare can be challenging, but I wanted to share my experience so other parents are aware.
