I can't believe that I'm the first person to review this gem.
Out of all of the B&Bs at which I stayed during my two weeks in Ireland and Northern Ireland, this was definitely the best.
Alice is one of the most welcoming and helpful hosts. She spent a lot of time showing me the best food in the area and telling me how the various features of the room worked.
The room itself was really nice. It was very spacious, well cleaned, and warmed. Although this was the first B&B at which I stayed on my trip, I would quickly learn that the warmth that I felt here (thanks to functioning heat units) would be hard to come by on the rest of the trip. The shower worked wonderfully, too.
The location is really convenient to the south end of town. It's less than ten minutes to walk to the Ulster Museum, Botanic Gardens, and Queens University. If you want to get to the city centre, the bus system works really well and picks you up nearby.
Overall, I couldn't see myself staying anywhere else on a return trip to Belfast. read more
