Unlike many tea places, they weren't stingy with them, which we appreciated greatly. I'd have liked a bit more tea, which was delicious, but I'm sure they would have refilled my little pot had I asked.

The menu is very expansive for really great prices. the steak and chips is really really really amazing for a low price, and is well worth visiting for main meals. The staff are really good at their job, and always know exactly what the specials are, what produce the food contains, whether the vegetarian menu is good for vegans etcand they definitely earn their tips because the wheelhouse gets incredibly busy in the evenings, especially in the Summer, and so juggling lots of orders is a must for the waiters and waitresses that work there. The chefs are clearly very capable and competent as the food is really high quality.

The staff are really nice and friendly, offering a warm welcome and are not intimidating or unfriendly. there is not a huge amount of space for large families, but sufficient for a few families to fit in. There is also some outdoor seats on the patio for when the cafe is really busy.

The staff in here are always really helpful and seems like they have a lot of time for their regular customers. I know that if I lived here I'd always be here, buying up half the shop. For now I just visit a couple of times a year whilst down in the West Country. I hope Toucan foods will continue to be here every time I come down.

The tea shop is lovely with huge pieces of yummy cake well worth visiting the tea shop alone. The tea shop is in a separate building so you do not need to pay to just visit the tearoom. There is no parking on site we parked in the public carpark in the village and walked to the mill.Or if you are nt members you can use their carpark and walk through dunster castle grounds to reach the mill.
