Where do we start.....this company should have been shut down the moment scabbies were spreading through the office and employees were not notified to take precaution. After the word was spreading around the office the "owners" then told employees the names of people who had the scabbies which was darn right unprofessional.
This company micromanages their employees. They pretty much treat you as if you are 10 years old. You're much better not interviewing with this company unless you don't want to use your college degree to it's full potential and you want to be treated like dirt. The owners could care less about you. If you file sexual harassment they take it as a joke and do nothing about it. They pretend to investigate but even when proof of sexual harassment has been given to them they don't make a conscious effort to do the right thing.
The position is cold calling companies asking them to interview for a magazine that none of them have ever heard of. You then Tell them you will publish an article about their company. Here's the catch....you ask them for a list of their third party companies which the sales team then calls all of these companies to buy ads. If none of the third party companies purchase an advertisent then the article does not get published. Which you have then wasted the CEOs time as well as yours. In the world we live in today there's this thing called technology and all these companies are starting the get the catch and rather save their relationships than deal with a "publication" that's trying to nickle and dime their suppliers, vendors, Etc. And if an ad gets sold and you happen to leave the company good luck getting paid your commission. You'll never see that!!!! They say they will pay you when they get paid from the advertisers but let's be real you can ask any former employee....you DONT get paid all the money youve earned once you leave.
Also all the hard work you did prior to leaving gets handed to the "owners" favorite employee (svp marketing) who is then given all of your commission. She is given all of the companies you had been in contact with, she is given all of your lists that you have turned in, she then takes all of your emails and sends them to herself so she can use all your work and make it her own. AGAIN.....another case showing there's no way you get paid when they give all your work to someone else so there's no proof it's actually yours because she then calls the companies saying she is taking over because you're on "vacation" or "out of the office for the next couple of weeks" which is a lie because that's all this company does is lie lie lie.
If this company were to be investigated by the department of labor they would've been shut down years ago. read more
