Cockroach infested hell. They run across your kitchen counters and will often find themselves in your dinner on the stove while you are eating dinner as a family. Do yourselves a favour and put away your leftovers before you eat. It's so bad in here that I when I move I'm probably throwing out everything I own and starting over. Ever seen the movie Joe's Apartment? Fire alarms go off all the time here because other tenants open the doors to their apartment when cooking instead of opening the balcony doors, they set off the hall alarms. Fire department is super pissed every time they get called out. Finally, be ready for water shut offs at least once a month, the month I moved in there was about 6 shut offs... Literally the only good thing about this place is it's pet friendly....I guess maybe that's why the cockroaches are here? read more

Wish I could give negative stars. Rent is increased every single year and the number of cockroaches in your bed is doubled every day. Absolutely disgusting place to live. If you want everything to break AND be forced to pay for it while living with literal cockroaches then this is your home sweet home. You'll find the exact same living situations at the local dump, oh wait. Even they are cleanlier than these buildings. Enjoy your stay and make sure you name your cockroaches! Cause all 500 of them will be in your apartment, and even your bed, every single night! Enjoy your stay! 5 years of cockroach infested hell! ABSOLUTELY INFESTED WITH COCKROACHES!! I literally find DOZENS of them DAILY inside our apartment. Maintenance has come in countless times to "fix" the problem but it has done absolutely nothing. Cockroaches were not terrible when we first moved in almost three years ago but it's gotten to a point now where they are literally everywhere.. in the bathroom, in the living room, in our bedroom, in the actual bed... EVERYWHERE. We seriously can't move an object in our house (especially on the counter) without seeing a cockroach. Mind you we have also tried a few bug removers but it honestly doesn't matter if we just clean our apartment because the ENTIRE BUILDING IS INFESTED. read more

This place is nothing but head aches. The wash machines stink and are full of mold and if you lift the rubber part it's like a mud puddle. Very disgusting.(LET me break in here for a minute the machines do not belong to the building so when you complain they tell you to call the company, as management of this building they should take our complaints and report it to the company who owns the machines not leave it up to the tenants, this is part of what management should do and if it's too much work for you hire an office employee to help. Oh wait you do but they keep quitting, wonder why? END) My time here has been difficult in some ways especially with management. If you disagree with the lady from the office well look out because you will be getting the cops called on you at 5 in the morning when you are sleeping and so is your child who has school. Then after that stops working she will get other tenants around to start to complain about you to get you kicked out. I should have realized what kind of a person she was when my first week living here she was asking me to write complaint after complaint about one of my neighbours I had never met or had done anything to me but I have email after email asking me to do this and now she tried the same thing with me. All this fixing up of this place is a joke. They are actually paying people to move out so they can rent to other people at a way higher cost then the tenant before. Stay away from this building. As nice as the staff are, the building is a wreck. Here's a short list: Thermostats set so low that the temperature in the apartment drops below 19C in the winter. Leaky ceilings in the hallway - so forget having ceiling tiles The stench of other apartment's bathroom odors when they run the bathroom fan Sinks that don't drain (yes the maintenance guy tried to fix it) Outlets that don't work (yes, the maintenance guy tried to fix it) Keys that don't open the doors (to their credit they 'fixed' the locks every week) And perhaps most annoyingly, they simply have no respect for your privacy. We must have had 2 notices a month that people would be coming into the apartment between 9am-5pm. Very disruptive for a stay at home mom. (And to be clear this was in addition to our maintenance requests). And that's just the building and management. There are more dogs than people in this building, and apparently it's ok to let your dog defecate in the hallways. read more

Hi my name is James B. I live at 90 Silvercreek pkwy N. and I would have to say after reading what CLV group had to say about themselves, in my OPINION they really need to live in one of these apartments to say that they have come a long way. I moved into to the apartment being told that the carpet was new and it looked new, but it is not, and there is a strong pee smell in it. The only reason I even rented the place was that it is a pet friendly building but to soon later find that even though it is pet friendly I found that there where a lot of big dogs in the building and feel that it has become a wrong chose to have made. not soon after I started to meet new people here, Tenants that have lived here for quite some time and they have told me at first welcome to hell and I asked why and as time has moved on I have and am seeing what they meant as I have see the elevators brake down a lot one time with my son and mother inside on for over an hour and the fire department having to get the door open for them I than went to see the date on the service licence to be out of date by 6 month and put up high in a corner so that people can not read it, also I was told that a Tenant is running a dog kennel in one of the apartments and as will that one of the dogs have bitten another tenant and to fine out that the tenants of the dogs are still in the building. It is hard to think that this is a building to where a person would want to live and wish that I had the money to move out and had never signed a lease for a year. As for the maintenance crew I would say that they have done the best they can. I also would like to say that in this building the heating system is on a WIFI system that isn't the best for there are a lot of days that have gone bye without heat and with having to pay for hydro puts more of a cost on my pocket to buy heater to keep warm. For some of the Tenants it's not a big deal for I have been told that they don't pay for their hydro. It's really has to be a place to be more of a nightmare and not a place to where you would feel safe even when it comes to the fire alarms do to the fact of the alarm going off too many times and there to be no reason for to have gone off. As for my mother to go to management there is only one person she will talk with because of the one young lady with blond hair was rude with here and told her never to call the fire department ever again. I can not rate this company over these facts and more, but I do have to say if you are thinking of renting here talk to Tenants on your own time before renting and think twice. read more
