It was a beautiful evening, and I vicariously enjoyed the connection of the people on the dance floor. I am determined to check this place out during regular lunch or dinner times. We had a bottle of rose (my favorite variety in the region although at home I'm a red wind drinker) and shared the apricot clofoutis, creek brûlée and chocolate tart du maison for dessert. The staff spoke no English, but with my very rudimentary French, and the help of google translate, we did just fine. I will add that the French are so very very nice once the ice is broken... we have encountered minimal rudeness. They are not gregarious but will gladly help you if you are in need.
