The hygienist reassured us by answering all our questions prior to the procedure. My son would have a gag reflex every time our family dentist would try to take x-rays so they were never able to take them. Since Woodbridge Kids Dentistry specializes in pediatric dentistry, the x-rays were taken without any trouble. While they worked on my son, he was relaxed and didn't even move while watching his favorite movie. Dr. Gep is very experienced and knowledgeable. She noticed a tongue tie which might explain why my son has a minor speech problem. I wish someone had pointed this out before. She notified my son's speech pathologist the same day and Dr. Gep will be correcting his tongue tie at our next visit. Thank you Dr. Gep and your wonderful team!

They are professional, courteous and I find it amazing that they can remain so calm when dealing with screaming kids, parents, patients in pain, etc, etc, etc. Everyone that works at this centre are fantastic: from the reception staff to the dental assistants/hygenists...all have personality plus. They make visiting this office a pleasure. The exam rooms are spotless, as is the waiting room and reception area. A small playroom is available to keep the small ones entertained so they're not focused on where they're at. A TV and magazine rack are used to entertain those of us too big for the play room....it is a welcome distraction when you're waiting for someone to stick some sort of pain inducing instrument in your mouth! Kudos to both of them for creating such a welcoming environment and for being the epitome of what a dentist should be.

But they called me today to remind me they want to be paid to put braces on my son again and that just really bothered me. They were aware I was very anxious. My husband took him for the appointment. They were only able to do one tooth with him awake and told my husband the rest would have to be done with full sedation. After the appointment he spoke to the front desk lady and told her he would speak to his wife and call them for an appointment as my son was agitated. He was IN THE PARKING LOT lot still buckling my son up in his car seat, when I got a call from the same lady who told me she needed to book an appointment. I was not even aware that the procedure ended as my husband didn't even have the chance to call me (BECAUSE HE HADN'T EVEN LEFT YET). I said "oh they're done?" Her exact words were" Yah your son didn't do well at all so we have to book a full sedation appointment to do the rest." I was obviously taken aback as I was already anxious. I told her to at least give me a chance to speak to my husband and see what happened. He had just got into the car when I called. I complained to the Manager and got nowhere except an insincere apology. For the little dental work he did get done, the Dentist was good - but for God's sake get better office staff, maybe ones who can understand simple etiquette when dealing with parents and their children's care. We ended up never going back here, and found THE BEST dental care for our child at AppleTree Dental for Kids.
