I came to the store 3 times in one day because I had to buy refrigerant for my car. I dealt with the same person each time, her name is Kyana I could've spelled it wrong. First time I bought 3 refrigerant cans and it was fine, came up again because I needed a hose for the cans and bought one and it was fine. Third time I came up there because me and my mechanic couldn't figure out how to put the hose on the cans so I just went to a different place that had the hose already connected. So I was up there to return everything. She went back and forth with me saying it looks like I used the hose and she can only refund the cans. I told her multiple times we couldn't figure it out and my car is still blowing hot air. It was a stupid argument because I didn't use the damn hose. I told her I bought a can with a hose connected from a different place and she told me that I have to go to my car and show me the one I bought as proof before she refunds me. I have never in my life dealt with a back and forth of returning something that was as stupid as that and had me doing above and beyond things to get $15 for something I didn't use. I've told my whole family to not come to this auto zone and I will be calling mangers tomorrow. read more

I just went there to purchase a battery for my truck. I have an inverter that is hooked up to the battery and they told me they did not feel comfortable replacing my battery because there was another wire hooked up to the terminal post. They said they did not feel comfortable touching it. If they don't know how to change a battery, they are in the wrong line of business. The obese African American Girl that works the front desk said she did not feel comfortable because she did not know how to change a battery. This is a great store to visit.... When the store manager is available. On 09/05/2012, I made a purchase of a 750 voltage Duralast Jump Starter. Since my battery in my car was completely gone I returned to the store the same day but hours later to purchase a battery, a can of WD40 and a socket set. There were two employees working (both male) one crew member and one manager. The lines in the store in the evening are normally long due to the working crowd. On this day I had enough. While standing in the crew members line waiting to be served, a guy walks in and ask for the manager by name and ask where a product is because the manager was unavailable. The crew member came from behind the counter to help the guy find what he was looking for, then proceeded to bring him to the front of the line and check him out. I immediately put the the can of WD40 and socket set and walked out. Another employee for Autozone (A Driver) was walking out behind me. I asked him if he was the manager he said , "No!" "The manager has on the grey shirt." I was so angry that I left the store and come right back to ask for the Store Managers information. This is not the first time this has happened in this store. Someone comes in and drops a name and gets faster service while we all continue to wait another 5 or 10 minutes. This is what I call a ghetto store when the Store Manager is not present. When she is present you can feel that the crew members and shift managers know that they have eyes watching them. Today I received a call back from the District Manager after I talked to the Store Manager. They both apologized for the bad customer service experience and i was offered a $25 gift card. When I got off work i picked up the gift card. A crew member (Tiffany) made a sarcastic comment just so that I can hear her say, "Let me get out this ghetto store!" which let me know the the manager had a talk with the staff. For her to say that out loud bluntly so that all the customers in the store, including myself, and her Store Manager can hear proves my point. I did buy a new battery for my car at Firestone and really do not plan on visiting Autozone again unless the many of items (breaks, rotors, jump starter, plugs, etc.) that I have brought from there has a lifetime warranty and they need to be replaced. My money should earn me the best customer service possible. read more

This store is an absolute joke. The staff is incompetent and rude, to say the least. Not to mention; there will literally be 4 employees behind the counter talking to each other when there's a line of customers, with only 1 employee actually working. If you say something, they just keep talking to each other. I used to shop here regularly, but forget that idea. I'll gladly take my business to an establishment where they hire associates that can speak to customers without having to use slang and a rude attitude. read more

I have a Kia Soul and 3 of my lights were out and the dealership Hawkison Kia said it would be $32 for each light so almost $100! I decided to try auto zone and as soon as I walked in they treated me with kindness and respect! Being a woman I really appreciate that because most car places try and get over on me because they know I don't know anything about cars. The manager Airis helped me right away! All three of my lights came to a TOTAL OF 12.00!!!!!! On top of it the manager Airis installed all 3 of the lights and literally had a smile on his face the entire time!!!!! My mom has a Hondi and the Auto Zone in Frankfort was very nice but didn't know how to change her brake light I told the manager this and he told me to bring it in when ever he is working and he would change it for her!! I will be bringing it up there tomorrow!!! I would highly recommend this place for everyone and anyone!!! And if you do go ask for Airis!!!! He is the best!!!! read more

I went to get a part to fix my tail lite. I have the book on the car that I drive, so i new what I was looking for. The emplotee that was helping saw fit to eat potato chips in front of me as i was being informed about the part. I had both the headlights go out on my Toyota Yaris. This car is very small and does not leave much room to work around the engine. Aris was extremely helpful. He worked diligently into a cold night, past his scheduled shift to make sure the job was done properly. This saved me from having to take my car to a mechanic and spending lord knows how much more money. I'm not sure what role Aris has at this AutoZone but they should put him on the fast track to management. Quality customer service!! read more
