Had to go into today to test my battery. I was greeted by Willie, he helped test my battery, and replaced my battery in a timely fashion. Very pleasant to work with, and answered some unrelated questions with no problem. I had a great experience for an unexpected car issues this morning, and I definitely did not have anymore issues once leaving the store. AutoZone exceeded my expectations! I've been having troubles starting my car and heard a few different things on what could be wrong from Triple A and the dealership. Walked into this AutoZone store on a Sunday, the store was fairly busy. I waited about 5 minutes in line until an associate came to help me. I told him I needed my battery tested. He immediately walked outside, tested my battery, and told me that it would need to charge for an hour to even test my alternator. I ended buying a new battery and it was installed on the spot. I started the car, it started perfectly. He then checked everything - the battery and alternator were both working great. Shoutout to Will Darby D and everyone at this AutoZone store!! read more

This is by far the worst AutoZone location, these crooks sold me a bad battery, when I obtained a reading at a different shop that said my battery's health was at %20, I went back to this location because it's a 1 month old battery, the employees there with exception on Thomas , all had horrible attitudes and the lady with a fake, cheap, white wig and awful teeth even started laughing at me while I was trying to explain what was wrong with my battery. Anyways, do not go to this location, there's plenty of great car business in the community we can support, just avoid the headache of dealing with retards that have zero costumer service skills. read more

For a national chain auto parts store, a certain standard should be held. I mean, they can't have an AutoZone in nearly every city across the country without having a decent reputation. That said, this particular store meets those standards in my mind. The parking lot is on the small side, but the store is on the small side as well. My most recent visit was for a scan for my check engine light that was on yet again. They were able to tell me the meaning of the code, and I did my own research. In the past, I have gotten batteries for my car, and they were kind enough to install the new battery for me. The staff have always been helpful to me in the past. I really do like the people at this location. I don't expect the white glove treatment, but they do not talk down to you in general. I have only ever had one issue and that was with a battery that I purchased from here that died within a week, and they tried to claim it wasn't from them. Alas, they checked my receipt, conferred with the manager, and gave me a new battery. That was great in the end. read more

This group sucks! Terrible customer service, really bad attitudes. I've been to several different locations and this one seems to be the worse and sad to say, closest to my home. Can anyone teach these individuals what customer service means? I promise, the majority of my visits at this location has been terrible, so I decided to write about it now because I'm tired of the disrespect and laziness of the workers. When I do have to go in the store, it's like I'm a bother. I think they forget they have jobs because of their CUSTOMERS!!!! The commercial(s) they run, and their building signs say they charge and change batteries, but I have found when it is only convenient for them. So my passenger side headlight went out, and I had come to autozone before for things with my car and they were so helpful. The staff was extremely friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They helped me find a headlight replacement and they tried to see if they could replace it, but unfortunately because of the way my car was made, they were unable to do so and I'll have to take it to a shop. But definitely recommend this place for anything auto that you need. And they usually are able to help you out with replacing whatever it is that you're looking for. Great service. Great quality. I know I update this review somewhat frequently, but I like to reiterate that the staff is consistently knowledgeable and helpful. I went in pending a break tag check completion since my passenger side brake light was out and the folks at the inspection center suggested I go to Autozone. Rolled up with not much of a line and little wait. I approached the counter with my car make, model, and year and let them know I needed a brake light. The gentlemen then came out and installed the light in seconds. I could've maybe have figured this out after a few How-To YouTube video but it was incredibly convenient for him to do it. The cost of the light was around $10 and I have the other bulb just in case the other ones goes out. He also asked if there was anything else that I wanted to check before I went back including other lights and systems just in case. If you have a problem with your car, make sure to know the make, model and year so they can expeditiously find the part for you. I also say bring a few extra dollars to tip as a kind gesture! read more

I looked up what I needed before I went, but they still checked the computer to make sure I was purchasing the correct item. Then on top of that they installed my new windshield wipers with no hesitation at all. I always love the customer service from this particular location. If I could give this place a 0 star it would be perfect. I went here for a battery change . Spent 220 for a new battery on my Lexus . So I told the guy if the could install it for me so they did not only did he do that but the idiot that installed the battery put the battery on backwards and completely blew out a fuse in my car I herd my car do a loud beep and I notice something was wrong . When I check out what was going on the battery was on the wrong way . So my cars fuses were burnt from the Auto Zone Guy that was installing it ' It was literally a simple task to do and he blew it like come on it your job so do it . Then I spoke to the manager to tell her what was wrong and she said I'm going to send a Auto Zone mechanic I said no your going to tow my Car and bring it to lexus . So they did and one changed battery from a guy that supposedly knew what he was doing cost autozone 900$ dollars to fix at Lexus ' don't go here if you have a luxury car if you want a monkey ruining your car .. read more

One of the best auto parts stores in the metro area. Always stocked and the staff are very helpful. Being so, expect this place to be busy all day, every day. Oh the joys of car ownership! Previously I had to visit AutoZone to get new brakes, which was fast and easy (at least easier than actually changing the brakes). Recently my Check Engine light decided to come on which usually means I enter panic mode worrying that if I don't go to a mechanic RIGHT NOW my engine will explode. Considering it's all of two minutes to plug a widget into the vehicle and read the code it always bothers me when a mechanic charges $50 for a "diagnostic fee" when it's the vehicle computer telling him what's wrong. But worry no more! AutoZone has a great service where they will spend those two minutes with the widget and print out the code from the computer for you, allowing you to diagnose the issue yourself. Maybe even fix it if you're inclined to do such mechanical labors. So, five minutes of my time and good customer service to save me $50, all completely free? Thank you, AutoZone. read more

I had a really nice experience here. Being a female, I am already on the defense when I visit these establishments. I had an issue with my Jeep. The battery,decided to call it quits. The retailer inside was straight forward and nice. My review has yet to speak for itself. Mr. Dennis, the gentlemen whom helped replace my battery went above snd beyond for me. The staff here are actually helpful and don't sigh or look at you crazy if you ask them what they might think is a silly question. Great place to stop when you need auto accessories quickly. They have great hours too as they usually stay open pretty late. It is small then Pepboys but the staff is much more helpful. Autozone locations also offer additional free services such as error code computer diagnostics. I had an error light on my dash and they gave me a printout with details of what was wrong. (This was done at the Covington location but I believe all of the stores do this). read more

This AutoZone is on the way to my car guy's house. Until this year, I owned a piece of shit car that needed constant maintenance. Every trip I've taken to this AutoZone has required a return trip to return a part given to me in error. This could be chalked up to user error on my part, but even when I have a sheet of paper coaching me on what to tell the clerk, I'm ultimately given the wrong part (because the clerk knows better than my mechanic friend), and have to take yet another trip to switch things out. I thought this would change when I bought the new car, but the lady who helped me on my last visit still managed to give me the wrong oil filter, even after looking at my vehicle paperwork for the relevant information. read more

They had everything I needed for my oil change, for a reasonable price. One issue I had my last trip was that the oil filter machine was out of order. Luckily I had my old filter with me in the box, so I went outside and double checked which one I needed. Generally good service and good prices. read more

Had to replace the windshield wiper on my SUV. Bought the part with Michael Neely(?)'s help. I thought he would help put it on but instead gave me "instructions" on how to do with significant important instructions left out. I couldn't do it and went back and asked for his help. He said he'd help if it wasn't raining. It a a medium rain, more like a drizzle and I said I'd hold an umbrella over him. Still no deal so I asked for my money back. At that point a kind customer heard what was going on and offered to help. He couldn't do it either but he went back inside and talked to someone, and eventually Michael Neely(?) came out and took about 20 seconds to replace the wiper. Had to waste some time just to get the guy to do what the advertisers say the AUtoZone employees do. read more

The employees at this Auto Zone location are the most incompetent bunch I have ever witnessed. Failed miserably to help me in any way. They told me the alternator on my car "failed miserably" when in reality it was my battery. I had to have my car towed to a real mechanic to get a new battery due to the incompetence of these people. Not sure if this is due to lack of employee training or lack of IQ points, but something needs to be fixed. read more
