Today, I arrived unscheduled at their maintenance department to seek help in finding my missing auto key somewhere inside the car. My wife and I had looked several times for the key to no avail, but knew the key was there somewhere, as the car would continue to start from the key in proximity. I decided to reach out to Angel of Ford of Downtown Service, who immediately began to look for the key and ask some team assistants to assist. The team found the key hidden away under the carpet in the passenger's side, solving the mystery. Angel did not charge for this excellent and unusual service. Simply flawless from start to finish. I LOVE BMW's and having had so many over the years, I'm…read morereally picky when it comes to getting the exact spec I want, as well as product knowledge from the representatives, which is usually great with BMW, but EXCELLENT at BMW of DTLA. This was ABOVE AND BEYOND. Layal Hijazi took care of me, and she had all of that and then some. What really stood out to me was her ability to stop anything she was doing and listen to a concern I had, even as simple as the wheel style that I wanted to modify my special order. She answered every question promptly and once we decided to do a custom order as I needed xDrive which is a bit rare on the west coast, she continuously gave me updates on the status of my production, transport, and ETA of my new baby. When the day finally arrived for delivery, Layal truly made me feel special and I felt like an absolute VIP. My new car was washed flawlessly, and had a full tank of fuel waiting for me. Layal got me set up with the MyBMW app and answered any questions I had on iDrive 8.5 as well as offering the ability to follow up anytime if something came up. I LOVE the vehicle and loved the experience. As a matter of fact I only have had my car for a couple of days, and she has already given me a follow up call with a warm thank you and inquiry on how I'm LOVING my car. It's all the small touches that added up to a 100% flawless process. I also was very satisfied with the pricing and her ability to explain any questions I had with that end of things as well (also shout out to finance team, they have been also wonderful!) I would not hesitate to recommend Layal to ANYONE that is looking for a new BMW. Even if DTLA doesn't have it in their immediate (but extensive) inventory, I can assure you that she will find the car for you, just the way you want. Lastly, the dealership was beautiful, with a modern coffee area, clean and new amenities, and a super minimal wait for anything. I honestly could not have asked for a more flawless car buying experience and the way that Layal represents BMW, as well as BMW of Downtown LA deserves all of the recognition. Thank you everyone! Peep the pic of my new baby, Layal made sure it was exactly how we had ordered it. So kind and caring and I WILL be back.

What was supposed to be a great first time car buying experience for my brother has now turned…read morenothing short of a nightmare for us. Our salesman Jacob had been very helpful and believe he had done everything in his power to assist us to the best of his ability. Management had failed us.  We had visited the dealer on Sunday, 9/13. My brother was specifically interested in the X2 Courtesy Loaner. A deal was made, and during financing they advised since it was a Sunday, the detailers were not in. Bring it back the next day. We were the last ones at the dealer, after hours and was not able to inspect the vehicle thoroughly. We were advised by Jacob anything wrong with the vehicle they'll be able to take care of when we're return the following day. All that was done that night was a quick wash.  The following day after the supposed detail, we noticed a couple small chips, one on the hood and one in the trunk. This isn't a scratch, or an inconspicuous place. It's a chip in the paint down to the metal, right on the front of the hood. Exposed metal is prone to rust. Brandon was the rep who assisted us that Monday. Checking the vehicle after the detail, the job was done half assed. There were still coffee stains on the seat and cup holder, the headliner a dirty, the rims were filthy. Ran a finger across the rims and it wasn't even washed. This was supposed to be the 'detail'. Brandon advised he would get with Jacob regarding the chip. I followed up with Jacob but he was out. He said he'd speak with his manager when he returned on Wednesday. I received no update other than he was sacked to finally remove the vehicle from fleet status so we can finally register the vehicle. I had to call in and spoke to Danny Gomez. I explained to him the situation and he said he would take care of us, to make sure to leave a good review. My brother had left the dealer and no manager wanted to come out and speak with him. The only person available was Jacob. They did not address the chips, said there was nothing they can do. Why the hell were we told to come in just to be told they can't do anything? It takes an hour and 15 minutes without traffic to get to your dealer. We have now been there twice set purchasing the vehicle with no resolution. A simple fix has now turned into a nightmare. Sitting at the dealer on Sunday seeing people come and go, we were advised only one car was sold. We wondered why and now we know. Customer service is everything. Any dealership can make a deal, this isn't the first BMW or luxury car we've purchased. It's the follow up and level of care you get after the deal is done that makes a customer come back. And by lack of compassion and care, we definitely will not be coming back. I will make sure all review platforms including the review email from BMW, and BMW corporate know we were lied to and that we were baited and switched. We were told to take the car home, we left even if the vehicle was not inspected, because we were advised that anything wrong with the vehicle after we brought the car back for a detail, would be taken care of. Lastly, just to prove even further the lack of care and customer service from your dealer, not saying that this would've been  an acceptable solution for us, but even remotely showing an ounce a concern, we would've atleast have been offered touch up paint. The lack of customer service we received may be expected at a Kia or Hyundai dealer, but not from BMW. This is not how a first time car buying experience should have been, and this should not happen to any customers moving forward. We had wasted time and money from calling off work to go back to your dealer twice in which the problem should have been corrected the first time around. Problem to this day has yet to be corrected. Sent an email to management and received no response. All they care about is getting you to sign at the X and take the car off the lot. Good luck after that 0 Star Dealership!

Be prepared to set aside at least 3 hours for the service, especially on a Saturday, but they were upfront about the expected wait time from the beginning, so there were no surprises. The customer lounge could use some improvement, as there were no water bottles or snacks like you typically find at other dealerships. Also, while the advertised Service A price was around $180, there were additional parts fees that Juan disclosed to us beforehand. I agreed to them, bringing the total to about $250, which is still a great deal. I really appreciated Juan's transparency, professionalism, and willingness to give honest advice.
