This place has extremely rude employees. I made an online order once and picked it up at this store in Lincoln Heights. The guy behind the counter gave me my order which had what looked like a receipt taped to it. I thanked him and started walking out. He said "wait for your receipt". That was the first time he spoke. He gave me another receipt while muttering something under his breath while looking annoyed. I asked, "What did you say?". He said, "nothing". I insisted, "no, what did you say?" He then lied to me said he was reading the screen. Bull, he was not even looking at the screen. Unfortunately tonight, 12/18/25, I had to return to this place. I tried to enter through the door that says "in" and it was locked. I looked for the business hours sign and it said they close at 10pm. It was not even 7pm. I pull the door a few more times then looked in and got the attention of the clerk behind the counter. He pointed to the other door, the one that says "out". So I walked in and tell him the door is locked. And with attitude he says, "I know" I asked if they're closing early. He says. "no" . " Why is it locked?", I ask matter of factly. And with great annoyance he shouts, "Because I don't want shop lifters coming in and robbing me!" Those were his exact words. These places need to have EVERYTHING behind the counter if they are gonna treat everyone like a criminal anyway. I went in to purchase a rear blinker light bulb. I thought I found it and went to the front desk to verify and showed them a picture. They said oh you need the one next to that one and told me the number. When installing it in the parking lot, I had trouble removing the old bulb so I went back in for help. Without hesitation the employee ( forgot his name but if I remember I will update) came out with a glove and helped me remove the old one and install the new one. Super helpful! This place can be a bit of a joke at times... Depends who's working. For example, right now I have some things going on, hardships I'm dealing with... So I take my battery to charge to this location.. . Well tonight I went right before 10pm (closing time) and they refused to even acknowledge me... I tried telling them I wasn't here to purchase anything and actually I'm just here to pick up my battery that all u have to do is grab it and hand it to me.. nothing hard to do... But I guess it just was too much to do or something... So I guess tonight I will have to deal with not having something I soley rely on for a lot of things... It's embarrassing that say but it's true and like I said... I'm having a bit of a hardship and I rely on the little that I do have to get by... But I get it, we all have things going on in our lives. Came in on my way to work for a bad battery. Miguel helped me check my original battery. When the test showed a weak battery. Miguel gave me a print out so I can get a battery later. As I was leaving, the engine wouldn't crank so i walked back in, Miguel helped me get the right battery and also replaced it for me. He works quick and was very informative on everything. Every single time I, my dad or my boyfriend come into this location it's always an awful experience with the staff. It's like no one knows WTF they are doing. So, on the weekend or Monday can't remember I decided to buy a Club for my steering wheel because they just stole my neighbors car, but my car is also hot on that list. I rather spend to have that piece of mind of having the Club. So, then my oldest had my keys and somehow they came off the keychain! Good thing that I had taken off the Club to drive before hand. I called Auto Zone in the morning, and I explained to the girl what had happened. She explained that there would be an exchange. I was happy until I went in store. Apparently whoever she was had left for the day. Then, another employee was kind of telling me that he had to call a Manager. Welp I looked for my receipt and I couldn't find it! I was like great. Anyhow story short I know this looked bad, but if they would of reviewed their cameras they would see I purchased it here. Josh helped me in the end of his frustration, and told me that he can do it but only this once. I was so happy because if not it would have been $60.00 down the drain, and me contacting the higher ups as there was no where any listing of what cannot be returned on the website. I went in there to ask about Seafoam product. I was on cashier line . I wanted someone to help me search a product my mechanic told me to get called Seafoam brand or similar and needed to know what it exactly did since i drive a prious . so i told the cashier maybe if one of the other 2 guys in the back that are not you the cashier could help me because there was a line. I asked one of the guys Rudy A and said no he did not wanted to help me and to get back on line and ask the cashier. Rudy A was not busy and refused to help me and i became upset. Hello I just wanted to do a quick review Of autozone on broadway I entered the store because I needed to buy paint that matched my car but I didn't know the color and the employee named Abby came to help me she was incredibly helpful And knowledgeable because I know nothing about this. She told me that the color to match my car paint would be on the side of the door and she came to help me to my car. Abby is a perfect example of what an associated actions should be when someone need help. The checkout process was also very quick she even helped me get a membership. I pulled up to this Autozone 10 mins before closing last night. I was having trouble with my car starting. Anna, the parts and sales manager, helped run a diagnostic test and which showed that it was maybe the alternator. She suggested I take it to a mechanic asap. Despite it being almost closing time she took her time to explain how the battery, starter and alternator work. After going to the mechanic the next day, it turns out it was the battery that needed replacing. I went back to this same Autozone and Anna helped me again. She even helped install my new battery, which says a lot considering she's a manager, she didn't push the task onto an associate who was busy. It's also refreshing to see women working at Autozone and it makes other female customers more comfortable with asking questions and seeking help with their cars. Anna is very knowledgeable about cars and parts. I greatly appreciate her insight, honesty and transparency. My husband went in because his car wasn't turning on. He consulted with a girl who was working on this day, first impression was she seemed as if she just didn't want to be there. My husband asked about possibly getting a new battery and she said it was not the battery then stated he needed a new alternator. My husband then went to Pep boys to get the alternator replaced and it turns out IT WAS THE BATTERY!! I understand that sometimes the associates are not fully trained with car parts or repairs but she shouldn't have quickly assumed it was a alternator. read more

The staff here are always friendly and helpful. The customer service I receive there is the reason why I keep coming back. I'm not a "car guy" and would prefer to pay a mechanic for the majority of my car problems. But I try to do some of the small stuff myself like replacing light bulbs and my oil. The first few times I tried to change a light I lacked the tools and needed a little guidance. The employee had great patience with me and my car ignorance. He never made me feel stupid, he just worked with me through my challenges. read more
